  1. F-16 are costly to operate and maintain. We are talking up to $20,000 per hour for each F-16. The average is probably closer $10,000 per hour. Add to that all the tanks, missile systems, IFV's and other western vehicles that Ukraine has pay to maintain. Ukraine's entire GDP in 2021 was only $200 billion. Is expected to be $132 billion in 2023. They can't afford F-16's.
