  1. Ukraine will not be a member of NATO until after my granddaughter completes college. She should be born within the next week. This is not about Ukraine. NATO told Ukraine no in 2008. NATO did nothing in 2014. It is not about Ukraine, it is stopping Russia. Ukraine has nothing to offer NATO or the EU. It does not meet the European Economic Standard and it is a Soviet military that is not up to NATO standards. Add to that Ukraine is the second most corrupt state in Europe, behind Russia. NATO is not a charity, it is a defensive alliance. Each member needs to be up to standard and pull its own weight. 2014 Ukraine was attacked and lost Crimea. It had 8 years to build its defenses before this attack. It was too corrupt to make that happen. Now it begs like a dog for weapons.
