I understand that Ukraine has no shame and will beg for anything. But we need to put this into perspective. We are not from a dirt poor country and we have an obligation to the customers that use our banking system, etc. If we begin taking some civilians assets because of what the government of their country does. People will stop using our banking system, out of fear of losing their assets. That will snowball and cause foreign investment to dry up. This does not only apply to Russian oligarch's that Putler doesn't even listen to. All foreign investors will look and say, they did it to them so they can do it to me.
