There was a teacher in Virginia who "misgendered" a student (i.e. correctly referred to her) when trying to stop the student running into a wall, and the school officials told him that he had to use the student's preferred pronouns. He refused, but promised to only use the student's name. That wasn't good enough—he had to use the pronouns. He was sacked.

@rightherethereeverywhere "the school should have been called out publicly for being cowards and committing discrimination against an employee." Given that it made the news, it was so called out. He took the school to court, which rejected his claim. He's appealed to the Virginia Supreme Court, and I think that case is still pending. But when the system is biased towards stupidity, how much can one do? His name is Peter Vlaming if you want to look him up.

@IfYouWantBlood1 "What I’m saying is never talk about them." When the girl is your student, it normally can't be helped. Sure, what you say in cases where you can avoid it, but it's often not that easy.

@toxicdragon323 I'm staggered that the trans activists claim that gender is assigned at birth. Have they never heard of ultrasounds that allow the doctor to determine the sex before birth? You almost have to conclude that they are that ignorant. Or simply lying, of course.
