  1. Creationary scientists were being cancelled decades ago, and denied the right to publish in journals. So they started their own journals that allowed for publishing under pseudonyms. But now that this attitude has spread to other areas, some people are starting to react to it. I'm reminded of Pastor Niemöller's famous lines, "First they came for...". Although the creationist peer-reviewed journals provided an avenue to publish, the journals were immediately de-legitimised by being accused of not really peer-reviewed or other excuses to ignore them. I wonder if similar will happen to the Journal of Controversial Ideas? In fact I wonder if they would allow creationary scientists to publish in it? It would be hypocritical if they didn't.
