@liamgross7217 "I’m amazed that people can still support an organisation that committed so many crimes against children." The organisation didn't. Individuals did, by going against the organisation's standards. And of course the same organisation has done a lot of good (and some bad) for centuries.

@jeffpliskin "A religion bsaed on babylonian paganism which is about as much to do with Christ as Santa Claus." Christianity is not based on Babylonian paganism. And Santa Claus is (originally and now loosely) based on Saint Nicholas, a Christian bishop. So there is actually a connection there.

@jeffpliskin "That's your opinion." No, that's the view of a former supporter of Hislop. That you have to misrepresent that shows that you're lacking a counter-argument. "I don't care for your pagan fairy tale latin cult don't bore me with it!" I'm sorry that you're so bored by rational argument and evidence. But repeating your claim of it being pagan doesn't make it so. And it's not my "cult"; I'm not Catholic.
