If men and women (or boys and girls) can compete on equal terms, why not? That is not the problem. The problem is when you have designated women's sports and men insist on competing in them.

However, one example does not make a case. What about horse racing, darts, and equestrian events? Apparently the women can compete fairly in those. In any case, I did say "If" they can compete in equal terms, why not? If they can't, then fine.

The first problem is that they want acceptance of their choice of gender, and putting them in a third category doesn't really do that. The second problem is that they are males and females, not trans, so two competitions—for men and women—are sufficient. They are not a third sex.

They're after acceptance that they are something that they are not. Having their own sport doesn't adequately address that. Besides, there are already sports for them: men's sport for the 'trans women' and women's sport for the 'trans men'. Why created yet more categories for a very tiny group of people? By the way, while you can't change your sex, you can change your name. His name is now Caitlyn. He is Mr. Caitlyn Jenner.

I'm not condemning anybody. I pointed out a fact and asked how it's logical to think that one could change one's sex. A question that you have avoided answering, preferring instead to divert away from that with irrelevant comments about medical qualifications.
