@burney7418 "I don't care about God,..." And yet He cares about you. "People can be moral beings without being religious." Absolutely correct! But where do they get their morals from? Their own opinions? Most atheists in the West have inherited their morals from the West's Christian foundations.

The right to have your immorality (God declares it wrong, given that He designed us to be heterosexual) publicly accepted? That's not a right. "Ma'am with all respect I've accepted that I can't change,..." You're probably right. But God can change you. Further, although you may not be able to change your feelings, you can change your actions. "I accept responsibility for my sins and I will get what I deserve as he sees fit." That suggests that you don't appreciate the seriousness of it. What you'll get is what you presumably want—existence without Him and all that He provides. He has provided a world for us to live in, love, friends, food, variety, and so much more. Imagine having none of that, for eternity. And then think that I've probably understated how bad it will be.

Given that a) it claims to be written by God, b) it is accepted by millions as having been written by God, then your statement is not universally accepted nor self-evidently true. So you can't simply assert that and expect people to believe you. What's your evidence that it's not of God?

@burney7418 "I just see everything we were taught back then is pretty much gone now. No one cares anymore." Sorry to hear that. However, some do still care, and some churches still preach the truth, even though there are many that don't. It's a case of finding a good church.

But in Noah's time, there was only one family worth saving. In Sodom and Gomorrah, God agreed to Abraham's request to not destroy the cities if there were at least ten righteous people there. But there were fewer than ten. Today, there are millions of Christians around the world. Despite appearances, the situation is not as bad as it has been in the past. God is biding His time, perhaps to give people more time to repent before He steps in.
