And prayer is not the sort of thing that can realistically empirically tested. One reason is that proper empirical tests should be "double blind" tests so as to not allow bias caused by the person being tested knowing what outcome is expected, and it is completely impossible to keep such information from the one being tested (God). Which highlights the point that you're not actually testing prayer, but God. Which means that you're asking the wrong question. "Why am I not surprised?" Because my answer met your expectation, even though I'm sure that your expectation was based on your untenable belief in no God, not on my actual reason for not wanting to discuss it. "But if that is not what you meant, you make a statement that we can debate." What I meant was that it's off-topic to discuss prayer, or anything not related to this thread, in this thread.

I've already pointed out the problem with empirical evidence, which it seems that you've just ignored. What "lies, criminal activities, sxual assaults, divorces, affairs, conviction of fraud, theft of government documents"? No, I'm not suggesting that he's never done any of those things, but such claims about him are both greatly exaggerated and ignores political convictions. And what denial that he needs to ask God for forgiveness? Perhaps he's saying that he doesn't need to for particular things because he hasn't done those particular things? "...I am gob smacked that any Christian could support him." So you can't see why a Christian would support the lesser of two evils?

Although if they declined an interview, then I guess they didn't have a photo session with her either.

I already have done that (several years ago), and most of the ones I looked at weren't actually lies. This is why I said "such claims about him are ... greatly exaggerated". So you've picked on one of those claim, and one for which there almost certainly some evidence, and claim to have given me one example! That's a long, long, way from good evidence. Okay, you also wanted me to find a list of Trump's lies, but as I said, I've looked at such a list before, and it didn't hold water in the sense of showing lots of lies.
