@amythomspon956 oil is losing its value and OPEC is shifting away from us anyways, working with them is almost like telegraphing our moves to Russia and China. The Hashemites follow Saudi royal family, MBS wants to create a pan-arabist caliphate type deal, with regional fiefdoms. He doesn't want to be beholden to Westerners. It's time we cut our losses and spend the money we would have spent on Iran, on US infrastructure. We're oil independent anyways. And we could always work with Venezuela, they've got A LOT of oil, and no ISIS. Much closer, easier to defend, more cultural linkages than the middle east, it's just a more realistic partner IMO, if we absolutely have to import. Canada's got oil, too. We can work with them. F the middle east, it's SO expensive and we get almost nothing in return.

You guys are MAGA right? You use words like "fiscal responsibility" the same way leftists say "class consciousness" it's a virtue signal, you don't ACTUALLY care about fiscal responsibility. You just use it as a whataboutism. Do you know how much war with Iran would cost? It could literally end the US government by forcing a default. Wars are expensive, war with iran would pretty easily cost 7 trillion if it lasts as long is Iraq, but Iran has a larger population, more capable weapons, more mountainous terrain, and more territorial depth so I think 7 trillion is a pretty low estimate, PLUS the debt we're already accumulating. And china will sieze on this opportunity, while the USA invades Syria, Iran and Yemen to spend trillions turning sand to glass and pissing off the rest of the world, China will know we are too pre-occupied to properly aid Taiwan and there goes transistors. And Iran's terrorists hit legitimate military targets, no civis were hit. Soldiers sign up for this, they know the rules and they can be tagged legitimately, which these Shia militias did. Maybe we could keep our troops out of range? What good does Jordan do us? What good do the Saudi's do us? They're cozying up to China. F the sand box, it's a money pit.

Major General Ryder knows it's not worth the hassle. If we go to war with another THREE countries the USA will default on its debt, and for what? This is absolute insanity, and I'll definitely be protesting very loudly if invasion plans of any of any new middle eastern countries are announced. We can't afford this crap.

But we're not protecting american interests and invading Iran won't help. Saudi Arabia is already trading oil in Yuan with China. The Saudi's aren't not buying bonds like they used to before COVID, and what's the solution? Invade them and destroy the oil rigs? You think that will increase daily output? The Iraqi's burned the fields to keep us away, I expect the Saudi's would do something similar. What good would invading do? You have yet to connect Iran with anything. "The more oil we get from the middle the more the supply the less the price." Again with this oil line, like Iran has oil. It's LNG and it's not ours. It's pretty insane that you're saying the USA should steal other countries resources, AND expect to be praised. If we're raiders, why are you offended when people lose respect for the troops? @codybell6882 What did we get out of Iraq and Afghanistan except dead soldiers and opium from the Taliban? Seriously, do you even know what we won, or did we waste 7 trillion per country, trying to flex and achieving nothing, ultimately. Sadam isn't a goal, removing a leader should be a means to an end not the end in and of itself, we're not chivalric medieval freaks in armor. The world is INCREDIBLY different.
