It's never been publicly acknowledged they built 'Star Wars' but IK they built it, too. To zap ICBM's in orbit, and damage recon platforms like radar, telescopes, etc.

hypersonic missile defense, lasers are literally the only option. Maybe a railgun, but by the time it locks it might be too slow. Lasers are the best option, they also can damage EM surveillance equipment even beyond deadly range for FO cover and could probably replace the laser with maybe even a railgun if they can the pulse discharge of energy. Railguns are OP. Artillery with the KE of of a medium-small sized plastic, with the range of a medium range missile (100 miles).

direct energy would be more specific in a way. We should use the acronym DEW, Direct(ed) Energy Weapon, Directed Electromagnetic Waves/Weapon, either way it's pronounced dew.

@Destroyer_V0 That's a racist troll not an actual indian, they want you to go off about how dirty india is to contradict the 'obnoxious nationalism' and get people more used to calling indians and other brown people from generally allied nations dirty/uncivilized. Don't feed the troll, call them a troll.

@8:36 they say they're using EOIR already.

@lukebable I'm pretty sure there's a 0% chance they don't already have some form of EM ID to deconflict friendlies on all airborne craft. They may have a IR code they flash, or some other EM frequency, or maybe a variety of rotating frequencies across the whole network (to make duplication that much more difficult) but the USA loves adding tech to stuff, sometimes even when it's not necessary.

@indiasuperclean6969 You may as well name yourself anti-semitic troll if you're going to be this obvious.

Directed Energy Weapon acronym, dew. You don't have to keep saying "directed energy weapon" D.E.W. is a very smooth way of initializing it.

@indiasuperclean6969 lmao, committed to the bit.

@noncog1 For the laser systems providers, to get grass roots support for funding a new weapons system that could become a standard part of FO/general defense. And the army is DESPERATE for recruits, and claiming that they won't be droned ever again/highlighting the cool toys you get to play with is a more powerful marketing gimmick than you might expect. Is it like.. news to you the military is trying new recruitment techniques? Have you not seen the military E-girl craze on the internet? You thought that was organic?

@noncog1 Whoops, I assumed you didn't think they were advertising. But my other reply does somewhat answer a question you asked.

@mutum1 It's a racist trolling, trying to get normies to call indians dirty and uneducated. Pretty pathetic that some guy in their basement is this upset about india existing (especially because they're an ally).
