Bill wasn't allowed to answer. Bill, before any question was answered was interrupted, accused of being rude and then asked another question. I have yet to meet an anti- climate change person who has read the IPCC report and has legitimate concerns about the data or their conclusions. Will you be the first?

@mikeoveli1028 I would write it as 0.2 gigatons from volcanoes, and 24 gigatons from industrial activity, decimals can be confusing. As your lit teacher would say, remember your audience.
2
ah man it's refreshing to see people hold civility above party lines, for whatever it's worth as a democrat, I appreciate you.
2
It does, do you know what effect that's supposed to be having on us right now? No he wouldn't, I don't know where you got that strawman from.
1
tucker wouldn't let him finish answering one question before he cut bill off to claim he's "acting like he's beyond questioning" and then asking a new question, so we never get to hear Bill's full answer.
1
Carlson doesn't let Nye talk for more than 15 seconds, literally. He keep interrupting Nye, with another question before he was finished with his explanation.
1
@ilya4759 Nye doesn't get to talk for more than 10 seconds at a time the entire video.
1
with that big stupid :O face
1
I'd love to see it.

@chrisvillarreal2752 Are you thinking of the solar cycle and the Milankovitch cycle, is that what you think proves your point?
1
@chrisvillarreal2752 Unfortunately it's not showing the link, would you please post the website/video title so I can search for it?

China produces goods for us, if the government decided not to buy those goods, they would make a lot fewer emissions. But you're right, china is a big polluter. We per capita pollute multiples of the average Chinese citizen, though.
1
What brilliant climate revelation do you have up your sleeve? Have you read ANY IPCC report?
1
And these people arguing "it's gods gift to us" don't you think he wants you to respect it?
1
THANK YOU, I question everything, thats how I know the fossils are fake at the museum because Noah didn't specifically mention T Rex AKA Big Sue in his cargo manifest.
1
you're missing a few key details, but I like your attitude!
1
It's not unquestionable, you just have to be willing to hear the research, when you demand it. And you are expected to make real observations to discredit it, instead of claiming "it's just a model". Well so were the fastest cars until they were built, doesn't mean the model was wrong, it just means its not here yet.

super sus bruh.
1
@kanibalismeboy lmao i love these comments!
1
you cared enough to comment
1
lmao, Let's Go Darwin!

There is a solid case to make that of the last 200 years, we're responsible for mo9re than 100% of the rise in temps, because temps should be lowering according to those solar cycles people like to bring up and then hope no one understands.
1
You don't understand how that works in these situations. Nature "taking care of herself" means human extinction, our emissions are the problem.
1
Fox News is special, look at our politicians and medias trust and favorability ratings, it seems shockingly low for being "free and democratic"
1
@needvacation7928 yeah, unfortunately the rest of the world doesn't seem to have a better trajectory.
1
@needvacation7928 western nations in particular seem like they're emulating it. The riots in Belgium over Covid stuff are insane. Sweeden's got nasty ghettos, the UK has 10k elderly die from improper heating and insulation. France is cozying up to not so savory powers. Australia is looking like a 2015 US, to me.
1
I'd pay to use your toilet.

He would have answered, by talking about the milankovitch cycle among others, and how we're actually supposed to be in the cooling part of that cycle, but Carlson never let him explain that NASA DOES have enough data and researchers to know what earths theoretical climactic trajectory would be, if Tucker would let him take the time to explain some of their measurement strategies an calculation methodologies. Scientists don't get to publish just anything. Sorry, feeling frantic after watching Bill allow Tucker to cut him off to make sure the conversation remained composed.
1
Rate of change matters. We're doing tens of thousands of years of regular climactic change in 100 years, das no good
1
Lmao, I bet he has a special mirror he likes to use.
1
@Robinhood179 Well, we've observed 1 degree Celsius of warming since the industrial revolution, and according to the solar and Milankovitch cycles, the earth's climate should be stable or cooling, so according to the observed information, the answer that best satisfies the data is we've warmed the earth 1 degree. Explain to me how thermometers were manipulated with, then. That doesn't matter, the earth has been covered in ice before, too. Pointing to times when the earth has been at a stable temp isn't proof of anything, without the timescale associated with the temperature change. What happened to make the poles so warm?
1
carlson didn't want any real answers, he wanted to complain about not having his questions answered, while interrupting Bill Nye while he tries to explain it.
1
Carlson wouldn't let Nye finish his thoughts. Climate science takes a lot of explanation.

America is more like Russia every day. Our police are in criminal enterprises, they've totally given up on law and order. It's literal gang rule, it's just not public knowledge.
