This feels very western-biased. The world would still have US troops in over 7 countries even if Russia became the most peaceful nation on earth tomorrow. The USA would also expand, too. Not that Russia is good, but the USA kills more civilians most years than any other nation. Or at least, by proxy we do. And it's unreasonable to claim india should trust the west after the genocides that colonists did, and the way the west uses countries as colonies today, informally through corporations and corruption. Why would India align with powers that fairly openly seek to subjugate them? India has no ideal nation to partner with, but Russia and BRICS are arguably the best option. Tough to fault them for being rationally self-interested while remaining mostly isolationist.

The USA is BARELY democratic. There are fascists in high offices in this country. Do you think we would have remained a democracy if the insurrection had succeeded? Do you think the MAGA movement that spawned that insurrection is gone, or their recruitment pool has shrank? Please. Yes, Putin is a dictator, so are most of those other nations, but it's ridiculous to claim the USA is stable or an ideal partner with a record like ours. You think Sadam would work with the USA again if he could?

Lmao, the USA is going to invade mexico if trump is elected, there's likely to be another insurrection when trump is arrested. The USA has destabilized countries and armed terrorists for the last 70+ years, India would do well to distrust 'partners' with a record so infamous, especially with India's history of colonization.

Brown people of the world would be wise not to trust white nations, europeans have a long and storied and current history of regime change, arming terrorists, and seizing natural resources. Latin America is done with the USA, as a concept. Nothing good comes to anyone working with americans, or any other imperial power. That's why India is willing to work with China in BRICS, they both know they're not white enough to pass into the clup, and keep any of their original culture. Japan and Korea have been SO westernized since their respective wars. And sure, it's decent to be a japanese person, but not so great to be korean, for the VAST majority at least.

Where do terrorists usually get their weapons and initial battle plans from? I forgot, what's the Taliban, Al Qaeda and ISIS's common thread in their back story? American support? Oh. Maybe working with americans doesn't help fight terrorism.

@kompatybilijny9348 India has been stocking up on dirt cheap oil since the beginning of the war, they'll be able to divest from Russia. I think the rest of the world, as in all brown people are realizing european nations are racist against them, and until they get out from under their wing they'll forever be kept on a leash in 3rd place at best. Working with America hasn't worked out for Sadam, Rodrigo, or any number of other dictators the US installed then removed. It's not the type of behavior pattern you look for in an international partnership. There are no good options, but Europeans have made it VERY clear they are not interested in any mutually beneficial trade agreement.

The USA is responsible for more civilian deaths most years by the proxy actors we arm, like terrorists, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Sadam for a while, Gadhafi for a while, etc. etc. if I was a foreign nation, i would keep WELL away from white politicians and industrialists.

Most of the people america brought out of poverty were in china, due to outsourcing american labor. We caused ALL the instability in latin america and together with the former colonial powers we rule large swaths of africa and enable our corporations to literally use slave labor. The West aren't peaceful, certainly not more peaceful than India or even China.
