@Projectheureka These fires in the west are getting out of hand. Can you imagine when these finally start eating houses by the hundreds of thousands, and you get climate refugees by the tens of thousands or millions? The crime rates from all these people who are literally just trying to eat and drink safe water. They'll give up on housing, and make giant Hoovervilles, and still have to commit crime to get food and water. Because this is the Permian Extinction, Mark 2!

@edwardgensheimer6640 If you have some legitimate complaints I'd actually listen, but this "IDK so don't" won't get us anywhere as a country.
3
like storming the capital and smearing feces in the halls of congress?
3
@edwardgensheimer6640 Freedoms like the right to vote? What about free childcare inhibits personal liberty?
3
George Washington would like to have a word with you, bubba.
1
@pietrojenkins6901 You didn't expect these people to be operating in reality, did you? His only goal is to deny reality in the hopes of obscuring the truth.

Yeah, Trump wasn't president during that time, no blame to be shared. Just like January 6th, ANTIFA brought the MAGA, Blue Lives Matter, and Trump 2020 signs and cheered Trump's speech that he organized to try and convince people that this was a "stop the steal" event, but really it was ANTIFA who were mad at Pelosi and the democrats for not being progressive enough. Yeeeehaw, bubba *rips meth pipe* THE SOUTH SHALL RISE AGAIN!
1
lmfao, yes they're literally paying illegal immigrants, not selling their children. Why would you even suggest that the forced separation and "losing" these vulnerable children could hide a human trafficking ring? That's crazy, the US never supported that sort of chattel slavery, at least not according to my Rebel Dixie history book.
1
No, that would hinder the owner classes profits. Just like the warehouse that got hit by a tornado and killed 5 people because they weren't allowed to obey the tornado warning. free market capitalism, baby! anarcho-capitalists be like "if you really don't want lead in your paint so badly, then why did all the paint manufacturers band together and add lead back to cut costs and force the market to buy lead paint, while artificially suppressing the competition through monopolistic practices? It's not like you're not allowed to higher PMC's to enforce your order (you just can't afford to)."

@Reach41 *'too many' you feelin ok bubba?
1
@Reach41 Do you think a straw man makes you seem clever? Get back to work on those theories about bill gates, bubba and leave the wit and language to those with an education. Better luck on your patents, next time.
1
@Reach41 lmao they'll give anyone a degree these days. to be clear, i don't believe you. your initial observation on "roads and bridges" seems pretty surface level, not at all the sort of comment someone who's field of expertiese this is. I am 100% certain a union construction worker would talk circles around both of us on this subject, let alone someone who's actually been to university (as in more than college). You'd be lucky to be smart enough to wrench in your spare time.
1
@Reach41 did you get offended when I called you bubba? I didn't think republicans cared about identity politics. You sure you're not an AOC fan?
1
@Reach41 You're right, I almost forgot you republicans are world renowned Master baiters. Didn't trump get caught doing that? You're definitely leading me around, bubba. It's obvious from your lack of a coherent subject.
1
@Reach41 You're absolutely dripping with wit, bubba. Maintaining your dignity, just like the south! Definitely have me convinced your a master mechanical engineer (not the official title, btw). What's the sheer strength of the most common bridge bolt, or your standard I-beam's 50 ft load capacity?
1
@Reach41 I never claimed to be an engineer. I'm still not convinced, but it's neither here nor there; what does matter is you jumped through my hoop, so thank you, bubba. Have a great day, my witty little can't. but with a u.
1
@Reach41 hoops*
1
@Reach41 And thanks for not getting caught in identity politics, bubba. Really sticking to your values and not at all getting played, right bubba? Such a smart boi.
1
@Reach41 If you're into getting degraded I'll keep going, but I think I've made my point on wit (more a function of language). All the information you've gathered takes less than 30 minutes of research to find, and would be better defined by the term intellect, which more relies on memorization (which as your google search proved, is becoming a less important skill), rather that wit which is a function of the amount of information you can process in a short timeframe, and the ability to effectively process nebulous concepts and produce functional, non conventional solutions, a skillset which is only increasing in value. I know this isn't your area of expertise, am I explaining these concepts clearly to you?
1
@Reach41 lol, alright you've proved yourself to me, I believe you've been to college. Doesn't change the fact that American factories are committing the same workers rights violations of the late 1900's and that explains your question, an obvious answer you immediately dismissive.
1
@Reach41 Lol, I'm not complaining about my life in particular, but the deteriorating safety standards of the nation. I thought we were supposed to be comparing ourselves against the UK, Germany and Japan, not India, Russia and Brazil. You think the factory owner who told his workers they had to ignore the tornado warning and work through the storm is a defensible stance? 5 Americans died because of his greed. That's your hill? Or would you rather take the stance of anarcho-capitalism being the best system for a modern economy, or would you rather pick apart my paint monopoly analogy?
1
@Reach41 Ah, so a "You obey the Stay at Home Order for sever weather by NOAA and you're fired" isn't criminal negligence? Factory owners never get punished for the deaths of their workers. "Humans are the most replaceable part of production" ask any capitalist. You morons with your "the law defines justice" is absolute absurdity! Did you hear about the billionaire who was found guilty of sexually abusing his kids? He was sentenced to house arrest, because he would be treated unfairly in prison. You're the type of guy to hand over runaway human trafficking victims, cause it was the law, don't ya know.
1
@Reach41 You hear statements like that, and I've personally been told, while i was getting stiffed that "rich people didn't get that way by sharing" and you start to realize that if the public doesn't decide it's unacceptable, things will deteriorate because your boss doesn't care if you die. They're actually allowed to make money on the death of employees.

Zach Schaefer Yea, I mean what did Obama do for America? things got so much worse from 2009 to 2016, and then things got great again after we estranged the EU to cozy up with Russia and the Soy farmers absolutely LOVED the last 3 years. LOVED it. Hey, remember that Foxxconn factory they're building in WI? I wonder what ever happened to that.
