@conyo985 So you're telling me this guy and I having the same crashing issues aren't proof the driver is bunk? Maybe it's not killing cards, I believe that. But it is unstable AF.

I have a 6800xt LC OC strix and i was getting weird driver crashes, now that I've gone back to the older driver I'm not getting those weird crashes anymore. You might have saved my GPU, which I bought at 600$ above MSRP! So again, thank you!

@matthewxracer I rolled back the driver and got better stability, so the driver is bad, even if it's not damaging cards. Which I don't question, but stability is a big deal.
2
Apparently the new driver is just unstable but not burning cards. The cards that failed were mining cards that were stored in humidity for a while.

The new driver sucks, but it isn't killing cards. Those cards died because they were mining cards and after the eth switch they went to storage and were stored improperly.

@gowron277a yeah, I have a 6800xt and for raster it's great.

@conyo985 As a 6800xt owner, the driver was very unstable even if it wasn't damaging the card. I went back a driver and am no longer having the same issue OP is talking about.

they were old mining cards

@conyo985 bruh you're not even reading what you're spamming.

It may be the GPU driver, it's not going to damage hardware, according to the guy who posted the original video. I was having similar screen blanking issues and rolled back a driver and the issue is gone.

@eduuklee9453 It is an unstable driver, so i went back 1 driver and it fixed the issues. nbd, easy fix until they come out with a better driver.
1
it's not amd's fault, the defective cards were former mining cards stored in a humid environment.

ty for the heads up.
1
they were old mining cards, not a driver issue.
