  1. US debt is $32,000,000,000,000 ($7 trillion to foreign countries including China) and rising $1M every 40 seconds. When US raises the debt limit, it is allowed to borrow more. Currently, US pays 4.3% interest to borrow for 1 yr. As Ray Dalio explains, the problem is, year-after-year, we spend more than we earn.
