  1. Even after borrowing $31,400,000,000,000 ($6T from foreigners including China), US gov ran out of money to pay bills. With the Bi-Partisan 'Fiscal Responsibility Act', gov can now borrow as much as needed until Jan 1, 2025. It currently cost US gov ~5.1% to borrow for 1 year. Like most Americans, US gov is broke.
