@samsadeniz you need a residence permit in spain not a permanent residency. Read the spanish law. it 2 year legal residency not a permanent residency and them 2 years.

News came out spain and portugal will be creating a citizen card for citizens of both countries living close to the border. 1.6 million portugal (living close to the border will have acess to it do not know number of spaniards) and will have acess to any public spanish infraestruture we will be sharing 112 number or 911 if you call an ambulance the closest ambulance will show up regardless if spanish or portuguese children will have unlimited acess to spanish schools and vice versa
