@masterroshi1015 .. No. The conservatvie view is always lagging behind reality.

@johnkidd1226 .. Her facts are off too since he calls the middle of the slave trade the beginning and she incorrectly attributes African kings as the originators of the slave trade. She did this trying to minimize or hide British responsibly for the slave trade.

No. You were always just too stupid to contribute to the discussion.

The worst part is that she deliberately left out half of the western slave trade history trying to place blame on African kings. LOL! If I told you that if you don't get us slaves, then we'll just make you a slave, then you really didn't have a choice. I'm a direct descendant of the owner of a Dutch slave company. I have the entire story written by my relatives who lived it. This woman is an IDIOT.

She's WRONG. She told the story of African slave trade halfway through it. She left out the 1st half of the story where European nations sought out slaves from Africa. Dutch companies went to Africa to get slaves. At 1st they just captured slaves and put them on the boats. That proved too time-consuming and a lot of effort. So the Dutch companies told the African kings that they would pay them to capture enemy tribes for the slave trade or they would just continue to capture slaves themselves. When the African kings had captured almost all of their enemies, the Dutch companies just captured the African kings. I can tell you this 1st hand since I am a direct descendant of the owner the one of the biggest Dutch companies.

@johnkidd1226 .. Paying reparations doesn't change the fact that Britain was the main driver of the slave trade to America and surrounding islands during the colonial period. Stop making excuses and false equivalencies.
2
@laurahano2587 .. Africa does not have a slave trade like the colonial period. Your WEAK deflection is noted. That Trump Univ. degree FAILED you again.
2
@factsdontcareaboutyourfeel7204 .. So what. We're talking about the African slave trade during the American colonial period. Stay on topic. Even the woman in the video that tried to paper over Britain's role in the leading the Africa slave trade in the Colonies could do that. Try again LIGHTWEIGHT
2
@stephenmcdonagh2795 .. Nope. The African slave trade that brought Africans to the American Colonies was started by Britain. Other countries joined once Britain took the lead. That is the subject that the woman in the video INCORRECTLY addressed. Your attempts to change the subject are WEAK. Try again LIGHTWEWIGHT

@factsdontcareaboutyourfeel7204 .. The topic in the video was the AFRICAN SLAVE TRADE where Britain brought African slaves to the American colonies. Rubin chose to limit the discussion to that. Try again LIGHTWEIGHT
2
@patsimpson7834 ... I already stated them in the thread.
2
@patsimpson7834 ... PhD+JD Georgetown. But my ancestry is the important part since my family owned the largest shipping company in the slave trade.
2
@stephenmcdonagh2795 .. Your Trump Univ. degree FAILED you again. The question asked in the video above was about slaves that Britain brought to the American colonies and surrounding island countries. There are a host of island colonies removing the British monarchy now and they want their citizens to be compensated for the wrongs of slavery. The country that ordered the slave trade is responsible for paying reparations. Try again LIGHTWEIGHT
