If an expat has a relationship with a bar girl, then he shouldn't be surprised if she is as loyal as a bar girl (i.e. not at all). I would be terrified that my junk would fall off after an encounter with one of these women. I cannot speak to Thailand ... but the province areas of the Philippines are the opposite of this. Yeah, you will run into bad girls there too ... but they are still looked down upon by the people there, rather than elevated like they are in the cities and West.
