@bdh1979ta I had much the same experience as you, just different events. The crack in my armor came when I returned home after a military deployment of several months and she was nowhere to be found. She'd gone on vacation with her mother and girlfriends. She filed for divorce shortly thereafter.

@berniem9254 Not being able to differentiate between good and bad women is a huge handicap that men of all ages can have. No strong males to teach them and a society/media full of feminists showing them the wrong way.

@bdh1979ta One of the best vetting tactics I have discovered (later in life) is to make statements in front of her and her family that align with your values. Especially in front of her mother. Something like, "Men and women have clearly defined and separate gender roles." If they are covert feminists, they will have to speak out or implode.
