The fetish/preference thing can swing both ways. Here in the Philippines, light colored people (both men and women) are held up as the beauty standard. So yeah, a Western man who has a preference for dark, petite Asian women will get a lot of traction here. I have also heard the "genes" thing mentioned here many times. That threw me for a big loop at first, because saying something like that in the West is considered borderline racist. But it is normal here. I don't know if real love even exists, but at least over here a Western man is appreciated for what he brings, instead of condemned and vilified like in the US, Canada, Europe and Australia.

90% of the Western women I have known over the last 40 years cheated, were abusive in some way, used men in an aggressively mercenary manner, destroyed families, used children as pawns, etc. And a significant subset resorted to outright theft/fraud, false accusations and charges, abandoning/ending their own children, and concerned with nobody but themselves. Western culture is to blame, encouraged and enabled by the legal system, government, media, corporate world, and schools/universities ... and all the soyboy male allies in all those institutions.
