  1. I reached my tipping point here in the West and am leaving for Southeast Asia with the intention of living there. My reasons are not so much to find a woman there, but it is because of Western women here. I am tired of being condemned and vilified just because I am male and white. The evils of this world are not my fault and I am going somewhere that knows it. The other day I was waiting for an elevator when a woman walked up next to me and waited as well. She was alone, so I turned away from the elevator and pretended to be engaged with my phone until she was gone. That small moment made me realize that I don't want to live in a nation and culture where this is necessary. Veterans are treated like garbage here too. I served 27 years, some of it in combat. About 6,000 male veterans end themselves every year, many because the government took away their children and destroyed them financially because a woman was "not happy." That happened to me, although I did not end myself because of it ... but it did knock me back decades. So, one day I finally said to myself, I don't have to put up with this $h1t. I still love my country, but my country does not love me. Goodbye.

  5.  @ImagineOnward  Wise words. I've been doing all these for the past 4 years (except travel overseas) and it has paid off handsomely. Moving abroad was always an alternate option, just finally reached the point where I wanted to pull the trigger. Doing a recon next month with the goal of a permanent move next summer.
