  2. I agree 100%. He really screwed up so many things. Not to mention how xenophobic the government has become, forbidding foreigners to buy a condo ; that's evil. I did the same thing. Left that sh--y place and don't regret it one second but still waiting for my refund. Now with the CRA employees on strike, things are not gone get any better.

False : having a home or condo in Canada doesn't make you a resident at all no matter how many days you spend there , on the contrary, when you sell your place, the CRA will tax you 25% of your capital gain. So this doesn't prove anything at all. The CRA will get you, no matter what, even if they go on strike, like they are doing now.
