Thats the healthy way to see things. In order to face a situation properly you must know the full extend of the difficulties. The Ukrainian war will be a case study about PR wars in the future. The truth is the first casualty of war but I dont think that there has ever been such a media campaign before.

@Samurai 7 They are still holding because they were dug in for 8 years in that perimeter. They are fully mobillized and provided with material. Plus they already had huge amounts of weapons and good training (at least the ones that used to be there at the start of the invasion). Ukraine has the size of France, the Donbass front alone is bigger in length than many european countries.

@themouthofsauron6926 I think the channel owner is a Ukrainian living in Canada. Canadian-Ukrainians are wrecking a missinformation havoc all over youtube. Most of them are bred up by their families with memories of the past century or skewed perspective of people who fled Ukraine after WWII for very good reasons. Their already established fan base gives them credibility and they spin their tales faster than bf-109 propellers.

@Burnman83 There are many ways to limit free speech. One is the Russian way. Which is base on brute force and its dumb because many times it creates the opposite results. Another is the American/western way. They will sabotage your livelihood, they will try to stump out your voice, they will gaslight and discredit you to the point that even your mother will start doubting you. In a really free world anybody would be free to speak his mind and if people believed that he was wrong they would just debate him. NOt shadowban him on social media, or citting away his revenue.

Thats what ultra-nationalism does to countries. For all those years the bred rabid nationalistic dogs to fight the ''enemy'' who was to be blamed for everything (even the corruption that is happening presently). When you fill your people's mind with fanfares about superiority and a bright future, its very difficult to roll this back and say ''oups guys things are not going our way'' because your own people will eat you alive.

''Fact is that Russia is having problems defeating a country with a GDP that is 10 times smaller.'' The real fact is that Russia is not fighting Ukraine basically. Ukraine already had alot of weapons sent in for 8 years and they constantly receive waves of weapons and ammunition while they are fully mobilized. We are talking about a country with the size of France. Also Ukraine still has serious A/A capabilities. This is not a pc game war against some goat hearders in the desert. The actual forces involved from both sides are somewhat comparable.
