@thegoat11111 Dude you are missing the point most probably because you have never been in Ukraine. The people who flee dont want anyone to fight instead of them, they want out of that brothel of a country that keeps failing them and now threatens their very life. Its as simple as that. And lets cut the BS theater pretending as if Ukraine VS Russia is analogous to Turks besieging Vienna, or Germans occupying France. The cultural, religious and mental differences between Russians and Ukrainians are down to zero. This is a political war not a war of extermination.

@Gusr404 What if you live in a made up country and the enemy isnt actually threatening your culture, religion, mentality? Many of the people who have actually never been in Ukraine or talked to actual everyday Ukrainians, not Kievan EU LARPers, dont understand the nuances of the situation. For many people over 40 years old born in the USSR, the color of the flag flying is less important than their everyday life. If there was not the fake (unfortunately) promise of EU making it rain euros (which will certainly wont happen and everybody who is an EU citizen knows it very well) many Ukrainians except maybe a very small minority in the most western part of the country, would not resist a Russian intervention and change of their government, in the same way they didnt in Crimea.
