@sheilaperrone7654 If we think of it cynically, and account the fact that UK is one of the main instigators behind that mess in Ukraine, if push comes to shove, Britain is a perfect target for nuclears. It’s off the mainland, it’s a legitimate target after all that involvement, and the fall out would be relatively contained enough in order to are a demonstration to the rest Europeans. Also in that scenario I do believe that US would NOT launch a retaliatory nuclear strike, risking all out nuclear war. The Brits would be left with their Darwin Award for not realizing that the Empire is gone and al, is left are old pompous men wrapped in tattered silk robes.
