  1. It has nothing to do with white male privilege. 95% of the 800 or so people prosecuted for this were sex workers or suspected of sex work. There's higher demand for female hookers than males, & the law has to do with intent. This law is enforced against prostitutes who knowingly spread the disease, that's the reason (in the sourced article in this videos description) for the disproportionate enforcement
