I'm not even Catholic, but although I wouldn't have voted for them 20 years ago, obviously now I see what's coming and if anybody will pop the breaks as the Americans would say, it'd be Aon tu. I know they're not pro choice. But lets face it, sharia law is not pro choice either. Give me Aon tu over Sharia law and informal sharia councils popping up.

And why will things work out differently in Ireland than they have done in Sweden and the Uk, will the muslims that come to IRELAND be different? will they be grateful for education and healthcare ? will they be different types of muslims from the ones in the UK and Sweden?   3. A lot of middle class people won't acknowledge there's a problem. They're stuck in the ''beeee kiiiiind'' phase. And it's too late. I've fallen out with one friend over immigration. She called me a hypocrite because I am enraged at the lack of action on this influx of muslim men. Because I worked in the UK for 13 years, apparently I'm a hypocrite. And that's the mindset you would need to crack. They have no idea of the true nature of islam. Complete denial. Even though they must also have seen the parallel communities in the UK, that demographic rejecting secular law, rejecting policing! Why do the useful idiots believe that what's happened in Sweden and Denmark and Germany and the netherlands won't happen in Ireland?? That belief that it won't happen here is based on blinkered ignorance of the nature of islam. I am really sad. These EU puppeticians are back in power. Not the there was an alternative to the main parties. ONly a few independents acknowledged that migrants were an issue to tackle.

Britain "only" has 6% Muslims but look at the parallel communities, problems with demographics rejecting secular law, declining policing.... you think it will play out differently here? If you do, then you don't understand that nature of Islam.

  6. ​ @candy1706 we don't have a reform style party. It's not as though one of our options was a party claiming to listen, pledging to solve this issue. NO, ALL PARTIES WERE IN CAHOOTS NOT TO EVEN MENTION IMMIGRATION. And Simon harris tells us we have democracy.

  7. You don't understand, all of the main parties were in cahoots with each other not to even mention the big issue, and unlike in Britain, we didn't have the option of a Reform party. The government controls RTE so the issue hasn't been properly acknowledged. Like in the UK, you're labelled far right, or a bigot or an islamophobe if you speak up. We didn't have an alternative. I went to vote and voted for everybody but the main parties. This is the problem with proportional representation. It used to work well when all of the parties genuinely stood for something different and challenged each other within a coalition but that is not happening now. Once upon a time, Vincent Browne on the RTE would have GRILLED each party leader and he would have ridden them hard. Now they aren't accessible. Nobody challenges them. There's no debate. They aren't answerable or accountable. So it's not that the people are stupid. There's just no alternative. There will be in four years, but by then, I guess we too will have parallel communities, that demograph that rejects secular law and ''declines policing'' (wtf).
