  13. I can see why Huashan is a sacred mountain...it is beyond breathtaking, in every sense of the word! I couldn't believe the sheer drops, the trees growing right out of the stone, a 71yo grandma walking those steps, a cat hanging out on a bench (5:44), and houses built into the sides. All of it is simply mind boggling! Then back down to ground level and a friendly grandpa giving us a wonderful tour of his unique underground home...what a delight! Thank you, Yan and Flo, for taking us along on your fantastic journeys to places I'll never get to see in person!🥰💕

  21. I am a Muslim from Central Asia, Uzbekistan and I didn’t know if Muslims could live in such big communities in China. Thank you for sharing these videos, it has definitely changed my understanding of what believers’ life is like in China. This place is definitely going in my bucket list and I really want to visit this town now.

  22. P.S: There's a difference between the term "Malay" and "Malaysian". Malay refers to a race (马来种族) which has the majority of the populace in the Malay Peninsula here. Malaysian refers to the nationality (马来西亚国籍). There are Malaysians who are of Malay, Indian and Chinese ethnicity. So, there are Malay Malaysians, Indian Malaysians and Chinese Malaysians. In fact, there are more than these 3 races but these 3 are the majority that you'll find in the Malay Peninsula.

  29. Ms Yan, thanks for interesting coverages on Jianshui and Gejiu, Yunnan (云南建水市和个旧市). I used to travel extensively in East and South Asia. In fact, China is one of the most Islamic friendly country, you can found lots of Halal foods, products, necessities, mosques to pray etc. in any cities and counties too. I was extreme shocked to find so many Muslims and Middle East Restaurants (not less than 200) in Yiwu, Zhejiang when I last visited Yiwu (浙江义乌市) about 10 years ago. Most of the big cities have a number of Muslim streets(牛街) selling all sorts of halal daily products, cold and fresh meats chicken, beef and mutton.

I've been sitting at home for a year now, struggling with severe psychological problems and haven't left my apartment for the last 10 months.   48. That’s why I love it seeing these kinds of videos, of places that is not main city of China, but back roads or countryside of China through the provinces areas. In other words, places that not too many people would think of going, if some don’t know where to go or start in. If I were to go to China, I rather go to where you have shown us, with someone who also know to translate for me in few of the dialects that is unknown to me.

  49. My admiration of Grandma , at 80 y/o she can still do hardwork, youth of today barely do it. In reality that made them strong , a productive exercise. : it makes the body strong and for household chores and saves money. Far from commercial gyms that makes you spend your income. And the wooden houses below the canyon , it's sooo beautiful and neat🎉 . It's the type of houses I love to live.❤
