Love your channel! You both keep it real, no drama, just the facts mixed with some humor. I just subscribed, and wish you both success and happiness in 2024.

I have been here for 3 months and find new things almost every day. I would recommend the Cuicuilco archeological zone as one of my favorites - a circular pyramid inside the city (close to UNAM) with a nice little hiking trail.
27
Gramado and Canela are one of the most visited cities in the country. There are others that look like it like Campos do Jordao in SP, Penedo in RJ and there are several smaller ones in the south
27
The first Slave Codes in the Americas came from the laws specifically devised to control enslaved Afrikans on the island of Barbados in the then British Caribbean in 1661. These laws or Codes were later adopted by the American colonists.

You guys look like you're as happy as clams! Keep on enjoying your travels so that we can live vicariously through you!!

I was in Oaxaca for Dia de Muertos and just fell in love completely being there. I stayed in Xiochimilco and could see myself living there. Its such a vibrant city and love the friendliness of the locals. Once I move to Mexico-I will def stay there for a few months before venturing to other parts of Mexico. ❤️

What a wonderful spot! Thank you for this video ❤ Beautiful beaches, lots of food choices, serene residential neighborhoods and that 140 year old tree!! I think I could live here 🥰 - hope it’s not too hard to get a visa….
27
Ok intro come through! As a old school picky film editor you have superior editing skills! Makes me proud ❤
27
i love the black american culture, their family values are similar to the mexican ones

Why I love the Yarbros: You listened to that brother’s story without judgement, and gave him some spiritual support (In Jesus name) as well as financial support. I am highly anticipating the next video; Durango looks like a great place! (I hate to admit it but I thought you were talking about Vanessa Del Rio as well 🤣.

Que bom que vocês gostaram, o nosso país é lindíssimo, com lugares magníficos!!!

I learned in college ages ago, there were two different types of slavery. Africans had "Bonded" servitude (slavery) among themselves where one person was in servitude to another until a debt was fulfilled. It was not brutal or demeaning, and it was not Permanent. The "servant" also received the protections of the household. That was completely different from "Chattel" slavery introduced by European Colonizers. They treated humans the same as other domestic animals. Along with this Europeans introduced lies such as "The Curse of Ham" to further their agenda.

A place I had never heard of, but worthy of a spot on my bucket list.

Damn, I was hoping you guys could see this video, see these rappers. Rap in Brasil always was political and conscious, only nowadays we are seeing trap and luxury talk. Rap and hip hop culture always a political movement in Brasil. and that guy that you asked the name is Mano Brown, our pope. and yes, they are still relevant. in fact, if they were North Americans, they would be just as big as DMX, Biggy and 2pac. Loved your reaction, love your channel❤
26
You guys need to adopt me seriously 😃 have fun Yarbros and check out Chapultepec Park , the pyramids in teotihuacan, Xochimilco , and frida Khalos house 😃 Love from the Chi

This is the million dollar question. I love that you both purposed this question because it's been a discussion between myself and my husband as well. We currently live in Baja California, Mexico and we don't see "us" out here. When we do and we ask what do you do where do you hang out, most of them say at home. So you move to a new country but you don't leave the house? It makes me sad. America has brainwashed us so bad. In more ways than one. I believe we travel but we don't veer too far off the beaten path. We stay in our resorts or near our hotels. I also believe that it's a money thing. We don't always believe we have the funds to be able to travel and experience the world. It's never been in grained in us. My husband and I were born and raised in Detroit and when our families found out we moved to Mexico they were so confused. Why would you do that? And my response was why not? God gave us this vast world so why not explore and experience it? One of my cousins had never been on a plane, he used to say if he couldn't get there in the car he wasn't going. That's that "in the box thinking" and I'm trying to live my life outside the box. I'm happy to report that he has finally opened his mind to get on the plane and travel because he's watched my husband and I travel & live out of the country. I also think we have these limited mindsets that's keep us stuck and bound in our little safe bubbles. My mother instilled in me to travel. I didn't understand it then but after she passed, I get it now. I love traveling and experiencing the world. I'm saving up some coin now to get back out there! Anyways, I'm just glad that I can see people that look like me in these YouTube streets bringing awareness. It's so important to continue these conversations. Now I'm a go back and watch the rest of this video lol. P.S. I'm here for the wild sex in exotic places!!!! (With your significant other) Yessss 🤣🤣🤣

Monterrey is an underrated city. And yes people in the north are more reserved and we are a bit colder than the people in the s¿centre and south but that dosent mean we arent freindly. Culturewise there are mores similarities to Texas than the rest of Mexico and thats mainly due to geography. Texas is just 2 hours away meanwhile Mexico City is almost 12 hours by car or bus.
26
I'm Brazilian and this video made me want to visit Mexico and the US to compare the 3 countries. Thank you for praising our cuisine, especially the feijoada
26
You should go to "Porto de Galinhas" Gorgeous beaches, and they are also safe... no sharks :) It is really close to Recife.

I’m a Canadian army veteran and my wife, daughter and I made sure to leave Canada before the travel vaccine mandate came in. We were travelling much throughout the pandemic before that. But now we can’t go home because we won’t be eligible to leave again. Segregation isn’t cool. I don’t discriminate. The freedom convoy is completely peaceful. The mainstream media is painting a very dark picture. When you watch the livestreams of the Canadian freedom convoy you can clearly see this is the most united and multicultural civil rights movement the country has ever seen. Just my two cents. (Edit: I also was arrested for taking my daughter to the hospital in Canada prior to our decision to leave the country. This was the wake up call for me to leave and get my family to safety.)
26
Appreciate you guys! Question: how do you provide proof of "natural immunity?" Will customs/airports honor an antibody test?
25
Bienvenidos a mi hermosa ciudad de Monterrey!!!!!!
25
Please pray for me. It has been a hard two years for me and my children. First it was the pandemic than the shutdowns. I lost all of my savings durning the shutdown. My husband passed away three years ago. I miss him dearly, I’m still coping with his death. I’m a single mother, with two autistic children. I lost my career over declining the vaccine. I’ve been struggling since. I was a social worker for over thirteen years in the hospital helping patients. I declined due to my pre existing health conditions lupus, and heart disease. Now we are struggling daily to make ends meet everyday is a battle. I’m constantly in fear of losing my home. I can’t be on the streets with two young children. But no matter what I have faith God will provide for me and my children. Keeping faith in Jesus.

I can't wait to explore the more diverse parts of Mexico. The USA as inflicted SO MUCH FEAR with the Cartel related news.

This documentary touched me in indescribable ways. I experienced physical and emotional responses, hairs standing, involuntary tremors, tears and smiles. Wow! The delivery certainly affirmed what I feel and have been confronted with in my own experience here in the U.S. The reminder that we Blacks are connected spiritually, energetically and emotionally through similar life experiences. This is such a powerful documentary! 👏🏾

Hi ! Fellow ecuadorian here just putting some context for the why mama negra is a character. The Mama Negra Festival is a pleasant coincidence between indigenous, African and Spanish civilizations, the Mama Negra is the central character of the celebration to celebrate the Virgin of Mercy, she wears a black face as a symbol of the fertility of the earth, on her arms she has her little daughter Baltazara and in her other hand a chisguete with milk and cologne that she sprinkles to the spectators. About the origin of this character there are several versions, however the most accurate is according to when the festive events organized by the blacks to celebrate their liberation from slavery in 1851 when General Jose Maria Urbina, after taking power. It is said that the black ecuadorians believed that this event occurred thanks to the intervention of the Virgin of Mercy and established this party as a tribute to her honor then this celebration acquired the indigenous and Spanish comosvisión since they were also in the area of Latacunga when this festival began and are also very devoted to this virgin. Currently there is not much black population in Latacunga because after slavery they settled in other provinces and that is why more indigenous and mestizo population is seen today in this celebration.

That ending was crazy 🤣 I can tell that a lot of work went into this video. Nice job y’all. Followed everyone with YouTube links 😊

I loved living in Guate and I miss it every day! So glad you guys are having fun out there 🇬🇹
25
Oh my goodness-you're so brave and inspiring.Praying the best for you on the next leg of the journey. I will admit to feeling sad that you're leaving Mexico. I'd hoped that our paths would cross :(

Is it fair to say, These are the same Indians & Africans who were forced by gunpoint and relocated to Oklahoma known as " The Trail Of Tears". Are they the decendants of this forced migration who built "Black Wall Street" in Tulsa Oklahoma? Very well researched and narrated. I love this extremely. I am a lover of true history and it is always appreciated by me!!
25
I’ve been going on mission trips to Guatemala for several years. We’ve never stayed in the city, we go to the mountains and the last two days of our trip we get to stay in Antigua, which is one of my favorite places to visit. I can’t wait to go back. 💕
25
Nothing compares to the gaucho barbecue. It's impossible to be unhappy while eating barbecue. I humbly recommend that you go to Canela and Gramado, two tourist cities that are very popular in winter.

Fresh food markets are the way to go. Here at home (Portland, Oregon) I spend $6 on red bell peppers. SIX BUCKS!? I think that's one of many appeals of Mexico in general: Fresh fruits and vegetables at a down-home price. I love the showing of different dwellings. It's always interesting to see what you can get for how much. With that said, just not a Baja gal. Still digging the vlogs. Kudos on more subs, as well!
25
Gentrification is a tough one. I can imagine being annoyed by an invasion, especially if one is not benefiting from it. Now, you two are kind, and respectful of others in their country. I have witnessed the opposite with American tourists. Down right just WRONG in their lack of respect. I can see where the resentment might come from. And that was my experience in Cabo: A bunch of self entitled American's behaving like Karen's and Kyle's!
25
Que vídeo lindo de Floripa. Eu não conheço, sou de Minas Gerais. Ouro Preto e cidades históricas de Minas são lindas tb. Sei que vcs um dia vão conhecer. Casal nota 10!!
25
Wow, this is incredible! I've always wanted to go to Carnival in Rio De Janeiro! I am enjoying your experiences at Carnival!

Back in the day, TJ was THE spot before Vegas got hot. We used to drive down from L.A. on a Friday or Saturday and go to all the clubs and bars on Revolucion - there were be hundreds of Americans there. The streets were packed the clubs and bars were banging, it was super easy to hook up. We'd all walk back across the border at 6 or 7 am and then sleep at a a cheap motel before driving back to L.A. - those were the days.
