Never heard of this place. Thanks for sharing in such a fun way! Made me want to be there.

Lovely video. Slow travel and exploring is the way to do it (for me). It’s beautiful that you found each other and created this wonderful life together. The partner piece can be a challenge, finding someone who is up for a nomadic lifestyle and able to adapt along the ride. Cheers and blessings!

I’ve been visiting Mexico for 45 years and every month the past year. Love the taco episode amd love everything about your wanderlust and carpe diem. You inspired me to make another home in Mexico!

Man Y'all did that! I love your style of video editing and production. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of this.

Being in Salvador for as long as you were, I'm sure Recife is a bit of a culture shock. Porto de Galinhas and Olinda are great day trips, and I'd say Olinda is a must given it's great historic preservation and beauty. Porto de Galinhas has beautiful beaches with crystal clear water and not far away.

Me encanta su trabajo...¡Sigan así! Saludos 👌🙏☺️.

Alright Now!!!! Y’all done set the bar HIGH for yourselves with this one….EXCELLENT JOB FAM, just EXCELLENT!!! One of our favorite Airbnb experiences was a bike/taco tour. We biked through maybe five neighborhoods, sampled a bunch of tacos, learned a lot about the various neighborhoods and then ended with a beer and/or mezcal. Can't wit to go back and do some Lucha Libre experiences.

Thank you guys so much. We are currently visiting Salinas and just watched your video. This was by far the BEST VIDEO. Learning about and getting a better understand of the Afro Ecuadorian history in this region was beyond words. Keep sharing and God bless.

Siempre en la historia de México se dice que somos mestizos pero que hermoso saber que en los mexicanos también existe la negritud y que muchos mexicanos tienen esa raíz es de mucho orgullo
32
We love our new city!! It was so wonderful to meet you all!!
32
You know what's the best of Mexico 🇲🇽, is that once we feel you have love for México, we will recognize you as Mexican, like the lady stated. Ye eres Mexicano! 🥰

Great video as always and the safety issue lately, every time I go to Mexico I feel safer over there than here in the USA, .. Chicago is my hometown I love my City but scary sometimes lol,..I will be visiting Morelia in late October and I hope by some miracle run into you guys that would be sweet.. 😃

Rio has our hearts. I describe Rio as "Big City meets Fiji Islands". The mountains, the 86 beaches, the city life with buses, light rails, subways... Can't wait to make Rio our homebase.

This video really warmed my heart. I teared up seeing the indigenous folk come into the church to pay their respect to our people. That showed true love and community. The camaraderie of you all within the community was special. This will remain one of my very favorite videos that you have done. I too love being with my people, it's something that can't be explained, nor should it be! :)

Dude, This is one of you guys BEST videos.. So much culture and knowledge provided. LOVED IT!!!

There's a catholic church on the Southside of Chicago named St. Sabina, where they celebrate African culture. Depending on the celebration, the processional is very similar to this. It's amazing how our (black) history is so similar, just in different languages and cultures. They are a proud people. I wish we could've, would've kept our traditions alive. I could see in Apryl's face that she wanted to volunteer right then and there; she genuinely wanted to help. I've been watching YouTubers in Ecuador for at least two years now, and have never seen ANYTHING like this. Ecuador is about so much more than beaches, birds, fauna and food. Thank you for changing the narrative that we've been getting about Ecuador.

Thanks for this list! We went to Mexico last year, and we’re looking for where to go next, without needing a jab!

FUN FACT: Racionais have a song called "CAPITULO 4 VERSÍCULO 3", and the lyrics mentions Avenida Rebouças (Rebouças Avenue). This is exactly the same avenue that Eldorado Shopping mall is located. And that's where I first met The Yarbros
32
I prefer "Pureblood."

I have been in Qatar for 3yrs and I swear it's a safe space so far

I love how balanced and truthful you are... I always look forward to your videos.. I know I don't speak for all Mexicans but I appreciate how you show the good and the bad of this country.... "Two knuckles deep" 😅😅

Yasss! Your feed came across my YouTube I like to watch travel vlogs so I subscribed. What a surprise to see you giving us some history of the afro communities in these countries and to hear the Racionsis MCs with the lyric interpretation was epic! The conscious vibes! I was shocked! Great rappers and those lyrics totally touched my heart! Much love strength, blessings and power to this group of conscious rappers and thank you! from Dallas, Tx❤️❤️❤️💯💯

After living in Boston and Toronto, I came to the conclusion that São Paulo is a hidden gem, a world-class city. I had a far better quality of life in São Paulo, and it's affordable. Obviously, Toronto is safe, and São Paulo is not as much.

Traveled for three weeks in Ecuador with my husband and never had any problems. We were in Manta Mindo Bahia Quito and a few other areas. Totally enjoyed our time there. We were told a couple times of areas not safe to go so we didn't go.
31
One of my global dream destinations! Thanks for sharing your journey with us. On the spot TV cameo...cool beans! So glad to have a view of Salvador. Obrigada.:hand-pink-waving:

Excellent history lesson about the evoluation of slavery in North America.

Great video. But like you said, everyone needs their own experience in living wherever they choose. I believe Mexico is still a winner, because of its close proximity to the U.S. and healthcare is still cheap there. Also, there are still areas in Mexico that are cheap to rent. Cartess, another YouTuber, just posted a two-bedroom for US$320 a month. With regards to racism, that's everywhere even amongst black people (I'm black). But I'm sure it's nothing like in the U.S., where you could be walking down the road and someone kills you because you are black! The U.S. has taken racism to another level that is so evil!

31
I love that you guys always share the Black Diaspora no matter where you go in the world! The music is great ❤
31
I SO appreciate that you guys take the time to write down names and actually research historical contributors (that we will otherwise never hear about) to the society; especially Africans. You do everything on the spectrum; from high rise touristy stuff, to art alleys to museums-that's the way to really visit a city. I wonder how many U.S. black folks have actually moved there? Using the spatula to hold the chair, priceless 🤣
31
Omg Funke, what a story, working in the same hangar her father flew out of! I love these interviews, you need to do more of them! You guys keep upping your game, it's excellent to watch.
31
OMG.....THISSSSSS...... Brought a tear to my eye. THIS is what we need to see more in these travel vlogs, more connections with locals. I've been fortunate to experience and see both sides.....from visiting my own family on my dad's side in Nigeria, and visiting these different countries with large diaspora populations. I love how those traditions have held together through slavery. It puts so much into perspective being a black person here in the US. And another thing; black sho does NOT crack-everyone looks 10-20 years younger than what they stated in the interviews!
31
As a Americna-Mexican I'm actually shocked. I mean the minimum wage is $248.93 pesos a day. That's about $7, 470 pesos a month; literally $442 American dollars. I think 1,200 bucks is fair 4,000 is way too much. Every problem you mention we have them in California too. Earthquakes, fires, natural disasters, squatters, some unwanted taxes.
31
I met both of you when we we're together going to the Christ! Also met your channel here and the videos are the best! It's so nice to have other vision from what do you guys see from Brazil! You're amazing people, I'm very happy that we met that day! Keep going, your videos are awesome!!
31
Lima Peru reminds me of Los Angeles, which American city would you say its similar to in terms of looks and vibes?

Married my wife in Magdalena in 2004. We frequented the mercado there almost daily. The best place for ceviche and fish is Cevicheria De Luz in the mercado.
