  9. They're Ukrainians! What did you expect? Have you ever done a video about being invited in for a meal. Our kids learned very quickly about Ukrainian hospitality when we went to visit some of my relatives in Alberta. (My Ukrainian ancestors pioneered the land around Vegreville.) Everywhere we went a feast was spread out for us. "What's the matter? You no like my food? Eat! Eat! " Not wanting to offend, we all ate to the point of almost exploding. I grew up in Winnipeg, a veritable melting pot. (In a predominantly British, Jewish neighbourhood.) OK, I may be somewhat biased, but at age 67, I would say the Ukrainian people are the most hospitable you will find.

  14. I must admit for all its worth. I have never had an interest in learning about the Jewish community, where I grew up it was always one of those things, where if you see them leave them alone and if they see me they leave me alone. Let me be clear “I NEVER HAD BAD INTENTIONS OR HAD ANY BAD THOUGHTS ON THEIR COMMUNITY’ it was simply just the norm to not interact with the Jewish community especially being Hispanic in a mostly Hispanic community like Hudson county in NJ. The lifestyle of someone in the Jewish community was always very secretive or at least that’s how it came off. Now fast forwarding into today and watching all of Peter’s videos around the Jewish community, I am very happy and very thankful to watch and learn. I Now for sure have so much more knowledge, respect and appreciation for the Jewish community I really do. I also find it my duty to teach others on what I have learned its the right thing to do. In a world like the one we live in today I think all religions should really capture certain high points of each other’s religions, something as simple and beautiful like the meaning of Sabbath is very interesting and seems to be a very necessary reset for our minds, our bodies and our world. I will say this, I really feel the Jewish community should begin to take some interest in educating others about their culture and their religion, I really feel that its necessary and would only bring good to the table. Thank You for the videos and sorry that it took me so long to understand and appreciate.

And Trey's a person with balance to boot, because you could have thrown on some social media person who mentioned nothing about the mentality and the spiritual component. This is so inspiring! My brain chemistry is shifting as I watch this. He's not trying to sell us courses, he's not trying to make people feel stupid for not being entrepreneurs, this was amazing.   41. Recently, my wife and I drove from Niagara Falls to Washington D.C. We ended up taking route 219, and it took us completely through back roads, and towns just like these. What amazed me is how similar these towns are to the towns that my parents and family came from in Mississippi. The people are the same, the way of life is the same, the economy is the same. What upsets me is how much politics and the media have attempted to divide us and paint these people in such a negative light. When the gentleman said that he votes for anybody who supports coal mining,it just showed again how deeply distorted our views of one another have become simply because of the social engineering down by media and politics. Just like any other people in any other place, these people just want to maintain their simple way of life. I too will remember to support people who don’t forget about those in rural America, and this is coming from an African American living in the 3rd largest city in the states. Despite its flaws, America is such a great place that is abundant with good people from all different walks of life, we should all share a desire to find a way to spread the wealth and support around to everyone.

I'm originally from Wayne County, Ohio and while I already knew a good amount about the Amish just from interactions in daily life, this series has really made me feel like I was back home at a time when I desperately needed it.
