It's possible governments aren't excited about North Americans coming to EU or Asia because they don't want an invasion of woke culture and the commonly seen entitlement that North Americans exhibit. TBH, those leaving are looking to get away from that, in addition to the high taxes and combo of price inflation plus shrinkflation. Dinner for 2 in Malasyia for under $30 or $130 or more in Canada. Even making $150K a year, I feel like it's not enough. I recently spent a month in Malaysia looking seriously at the country for relocation (thanks to the videos seen in this channel) and when my wife and I returned to Canada, we felt the pull to go back and are now talking about how we do this now at 49yrs old instead of our original plan at 55. I'm seeing the value in a 2nd or 3rd citizenship thanks to Nomad Capitalist and my own frustrations with the immense cost of living in Canada.

  12. I really liked the waitress making a guest debut. I don’t know if that was a happy mistake but it was a nice touch. You’re right, they are brands. Also, as I travel I’m finding better quality food and ironically, less processed food in the developing economies than in the “First World”. We are in the forefront of a new movement that flips the American Dream upside down.

  17. Great topic. As an experienced child with multiple places and multiple schools during childhood, I missed a true "home". As soon as we were living in a place more than 5 years I was devastated when we had to move again. Nowadays I can move as much as I want without any issues, but with my kids I will homeschool them. Have a house in a good place as our "base" and don't move at all until the children are in the late teens. However, lots of traveling during those years still! But still always a "home" to come back to. That's what I believe is the best for a child. I wish my childhood was like that.

It's not just the cost factor...you got to have a nice total package of staying in KL for a week, or a month, or 3 month...the people, the hotels, the grab drivers, the LRT, MRT, buses, the food, the climax, the environment, the travel planning, etc Conclusion : KL is best cost for healthcare...and for a visit

We love travelling and have been living in Nicaragua for the last 10 months purely by accident. After living in a different country and experiencing the richness of experiencing a different culture in depth, I want to do that more! I really like the idea of being a global citizen and taking advantage of the different benefits that offers.

They're fearful and most are just flat out slaves or serfs on a plantation. Those people are looking at the still life from a different place in the room. What you're saying I saw and experienced in the 90s though.
