My eyes were really opened by this idea that being a "nomad" does NOT mean being constantly on the move, but simply having the mindset of being willing to actually pick up and leave when you feel like it. My thought for the last year of researching different nomadic lifestyles was "do I REALLY want to move constantly and never have a permanent home? Because that's what being a nomad IS." It is SUCH a different perspective for me to consider being able to call myself a "nomad" as simply being about whether my mind is open enough to accept the impermanence of life and material things; almost akin to the Taoist notion of going with the flow of life. So thank you for presenting such a different perspective! I am grateful, and really enjoy your videos.

  4. Thank you for the interview. I have moved to Uzbekistan not so long ago (mostly for work) and I am pleasantly surprised that mr. Rogers praised the leadership of this country. I wonder if they are going to accept double citizenship sometime soon.

  5. My daughter is 6. She has gone to school in Barcelona, Hong Kong, Thailand, USA, Colombia, and now currently in Mexico. It's totally possible to do what you want and travel with kids!

  6. This video squarely hits the nail in one shot. We don't have to agree with everything this young gentleman says to know he's absolutely right about this. I physically left the US a couple years ago, but spiritually and mentally left it over 25 years ago. These fox news people seriously look and sound like complete baffons. I've been listening to this pathetic rhetoric for as long as I can remember. I'm not an overly wealthy person, but I know the value of the dollar. Paying $720 per month for health insurance in the US is insane as is 'woke' and 'cancel' culture.

Malaysia certainly is still family friendly country due to its safety environment, well organized development, better education system, reasonable health care system, affordable international food , well developed infrastructure, great location in Asia to travel , thumbs up to the weather , plenty of urban apartments , tons of attraction like beaches, mountains and islands moreover shopping malls are always surrounded you with countless convenient stores too 🤗🎉👍

  9. I feel like too many people ask Andrew how to save money on taxes, but they dont want to pay the high prices to live in luxury places, or even 150k for St Kitts. The problem isnt the taxes folks, its the MONEY. Get the money up! Always love your videos Andrew. Will give you a call in the future when the millions are in the pocket for you to help me live the oligarch lifestyle. I think you should come out with some Tshirts, I'd buy one. Just make sure the material is soft ;-).

  15. I can still remember watching Nomad Capitalist's first Youtube video back in 2012(if i'm not mistaken). This channel has come so far in that time and although i probably will never qualify for their services, it's still one of my favorite channels to watch regularly. Andrew is a wealth of knowledge and his whole team is just superb in what they do to help people go where they are treated best. There are many intimidators but they are the originals.

  20. I come from an immigrant family, I am the first of my family to be born in the UK, trust me, this place is dead, when people like me start thinking of moving abroad, you know the show is over!! I'm a dual national by birth and from what I've researched, there is no shortage of options out there. I'm trilingual and am learning another two languages in preparation for going. I don't plan on setting my foot back in the UK ever again. I'm not interested in any E.U. country, I just don't have the patience with these high tax, huge red tape countries. To start a small business you need to grease half a dozen government departments..no no. The world is big and there are a lot more opportunities out there. Why stick with these ass holes? I want to go where I'm treated best. I can across Andrew post 2008 banking crises, back then it was just a simple blog, and I would read his articles and it opened my mind up on how things worked. I'm really happy for what Andrew has created with Nomad Capitalist, I wish him all the best.

  22. I thought my patriotic American parents would be hurt when I left, but they’ve been very supportive. My siblings are split along political lines. My friends from America have faded away. My biggest financial loss is that the USA has huge tax loopholes for real estate investors. Though it wasn’t my primary business, real estate let me live essentially tax free for my last 15 years in the USA. I get back to the USA 2-3 times per year to visit aging relatives. Once they’re gone, I doubt that I will ever want to visit again. People are nice and helpful and friendly everywhere.

  27. God bress you guys coming from a good background. What you're not getting (thank god) is that starting from "zero" does not concern money. The point it's the environment you grow and live in.Real drama is having no family, no education, thus no mindset, not knowing what a "normal" life means, lacking selfesteem and love. These are some of the things holding people back, not the lack of funding. Remember, your "nothing" may be "a lot" for some kind of people. Good video anyway, congrats!

Our infrastructure got a D- rating from our internal agencies because of crumbling bridges, roadways and lack of mass transit in most of the entire country. In my honest opinion, it calls into question the validity of this report. 😠 Nice to see the Nomad Capitalist's opinion on this topic though.

  36. I went from earning 15-27K per year every year to making 60K this year partly as a result of my choice to live abroad. Obviously, I don't experience the same level of tax benefits you're discussing here. But even at my level, the benefits of a nomadic lifestyle pay off; the reduced cost of living, better climate, and chance to explore new cultures all help me be more productive as a person. Thanks for sharing this insight, I now have the belief that if I can double my income in this manner, surely I can double it and double it again! Cheers for the morning inspiration!
