  2. It's odd that such an honest discussion feels so subversive. If I wasn't a father I would have retreated to a cottage and lived a quiet life as the world burned. Yet another gift my children have given me unintentionally is to not allow me such cowardice. By the way Turgenev is a good read, give him a chance. Andrew, one point to bring up, if I may, no amount of pandering and dancing aroung the landmines will be sufficient to protect your career. Being honest and fearless is a rare and valuable thing that will hold value. Forever living in fear of the wrath of the unreasonable will never stop them from doing what comes naturally to the brainwashed or benefit you in any way. Bravery is not a choice, it is the only option bar complete submission, in the long run.

  10. I had never heard of this woman but what a warrior for old-fashioned journalism she is, the type that asks questions others don’t. She’s absolutely right about the BBC and other institutions covering up and committing abuse. All allegations must be rigorously investigated or else they come across as unhinged conspiracy theories. It takes a fearless person to expose these well protected people. You and Sonia are well equipped to make journalism an honourable profession again.

  12. Absolutely disgusted to find that, upon searching this brave young man, on YouTube - head of the page was a big advert for gender re assignment surgery and gender affirming care....! WTF?! My heart and prayers go out to this young man. Absolutely tragic and criminal, what they're putting kids through, with all of this.... 😢

  17. "A uniquely stupid age" has me terrified, but I absolutely see this manifest regularly. I try to be hopeful for the future but it's becoming more and more challenging. My beliefs have evolved throughout the course of my life, and I embrace that evolution. Debate and the bold challenge of my opinions has been critical in the development of my values and beliefs. When logic and constructive conversation has gone by the wayside, where do we go from here?

(My initial comment got deleted, sad to see that in a heretics comment section where open dialogue is supposed to be welcome so I’ll explain my thoughts in more detail) This ideology is not only homophobic, but mysoginistic too. Telling lesbians that they’re bigoted because of their sexuality (because they aren’t interested in romantic relationship with trans women), trans women in women’s sports, bathrooms and changing rooms etc and if anyone has genuine complaints refusing to listen and telling them they’re being a bigot who needs to reeducate themselves. It’s clear that that’s what it is.

Knowing from up close (unfortunately) what happened on October 7th, one thing that was also overlooked regarding the victims was that many of them were highly devoted peace activists. On one of the Kibutses that morning was supposed to be dedicated to a yearly event of flying kites right by the boarded as a sign of peace offering. They found themselves dead, injured, traumatized or kidnapped instead. As a person who wishes for peace and believes in the good nature of human beings - that morning was heartbreaking and devastating more than I could ever express.

  40. I just want to mention back in the mid eighties I worked on a building site for a new wing at Stoke Mandeville. One day Saville turned up I was about 17 and me colleagues said lets go and have a look. One of the hospital maintenance team said to us he is a wrong un and everyone knows it.
