Very interesting. A well put together documentary, without all the unnecessary shouting and loud music some lesser productions rely on. ππ Ps the algae hunting and attacking the other plankton with their 'arrows,' was particularly fascinating. I have never seen that before. Even at my age, "every day's a school day." π

About 5 years ago in southern Arizona we had a duststorm that lasted for days, a farmer had left a ton of feilds fallow because the drought and they whipped up with the wind... You could taste the chemicals in the dust it was unforgettable. I have 2 acres and close to 25 drought resistant trees now, I think it should be law as i have reversed alot of the soil erosion problem(aka gone with the godamn wind)

Here's a wild idea get an army of dump truck drivers and bulldozers and other heavy equipment fill the dump truck with the desert sand and drive it back to its point of origin and as you do that plant trees billions of trees plants grasses bushes etc etc build on the east coast a desalination plant build a water pipe line back to the newly planted trees to water the trees and bushes etc along the way you can set up from the water pipe line water stations for the population that need it the most also use the sand in construction to be mix with cement and the Crystal pebbles can be use to make glass and fight back this is a huge project but china has a huge population they can employ millions of people they can do it btw can anyone tell the Chinese government of my idea who knows they might go for it and I loved the documentary and my respect to the Chinese people

This is a very well done documentary that shows a very different side of the story that we've rarely seen, but indeed, some of the facts are inaccurate. The one that bugs me the most that I haven't seen any comment on is how it was said in here that after receiving iceberg warnings, the Titnaic changed course. This isn't actually true. In fact, most warnings didn't even reach Captain Smith at all, because of the general misconception that large ships like the Titanic couldn't be bothered by a "tiny iceberg" (and, well, they all thought she was unsinkable anyways). They actually just went full steam ahead without any regard for the multiple messages, as they wanted to reach America early to show off to the press.

Thank u for the educational, our environment. I think we shd. Educate people all over the world and awareness of our environment. We live in a beautiful planet, and we humans in this earth should respect our Mother Earth. Thank you for sharing.

There's no such thing as a "clean war." Maybe someday the warmongers will figure that out. If you don't like war crimes, the only way to stop them is to stop war. If you advocate for war, then you get what you get--on both sides.

Many Thanks, Lovely Documentary....!!!

Hard to believe the sheep and grazing animal farmers still hold sway in this day and age. As can we see, environmental problems extend beyond climate change concerns. Perhaps we focus too much on global warming to the exclusion of desertification and βdevelopmentβ fighting. Fighting litterers too is a priority. (In U.S. golf is a declining sport).

Thank you very much for this documentary great and very interesting

Very interesting documentary and good on them i say... Planting trees is one thing but it wont bring back the glaciers that are needed to supply water to the region. Its an extremely expensive band aid. Fixing the symptom instead of the cause. If humankind find alternative energy sources and stop logging in the region and plant trees to halt the desertification we may never reverse the warming that has altered the amount of fresh water. No water = no trees :(

I always wondered If a pump system couldβve helped slow the sinking of the ship. But Iβm no expert , just a thought
