This video, this topic, coming on the anniversary of one of the worst days of deployment. RIP SSG Mac. Thank you Ryan. Your commitment to the troops and producing high value training is unmatched. And even after a ten year career as a 19D; it’s incredible how much I didn’t know.

Thanks for doing this. 🇸🇮🇺🇦

I just found this channel and can't express how fascinating it is! You took what is clearly a vastly complicated system and broke it down so that even I can have a basic grasp of it. Looking forward to more!

I'm a highly qualified IT professional and you are a better teacher than 95% of the IT channels on YouTube.

Can’t spell beer without E/E!!! Thank-you for this video, 16 year E/E guy on T-38, KC-135, and U-2’s. Best thankless job in the world.

12 B, here and this was a nice summary. It is interesting seeing what other engineers from around the world do with mines. Some are creative, innovative or downright sadistic.

This was my favorite Army commercial back in the 80s. I went through Airborne School after 11 Bravo AIT. 😁😁😁

You really did your research here, I have never seen a better overview of what we did in a Patriot unit then this. Instead of trying to describe what I used to do in the Army, I’m just going to send people this video.

Ryan you are more communitive than the media. I enjoy your explanations Greeting from Belfast NI

Hello Ryan. I was station multiple times aboard USS Bataan LHD 5, we helped during hurricane Katrina, the ship later on helped Haiti. Later on I was with a TACRON unit out of Little Creek and was responsible for ensuring we were DSCA ready and responded to the hurricane that hit the Bahamas in 2019. Great video!

This was dope. I already knew the timeline of antibiotics, but the story telling was extraordinary. The insights, the details are rare to be seen on YT. A pleasure to watch this channel. KUDOS to you, my friend!

I retired with the 76th IBCT patch on my right shoulder. Indiana does a pretty good job of giving Soldiers realistic training thanks to some forward thinking individuals and having training sites like the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center and Camp Atterbury. MUTC is like an amusement park of scenario training for Soldiers. I don't know the Soldier in the video and can't see a name or rank (likely for a good reason) but he does a great job.

Keep making the skits... We cannot allow a skit gap!!!

Was thrilled to see some familiar faces in your video this morning. At 4:34 you use a photo from a Veterinary Civic Action Program (VETCAP) mission. I had the honor of working with the very soldiers depicted in that photo many years ago on a VETCAP in the Karamoja region of Uganda. Awesome memories.

So there are people that have to do all that but are stuck on a giant boat. Sounds insane.

If you don't want to install mysql I suggest to use sqlite ... Its lightweight , serverless and easy to learn and use . As a bonus you can use python to send a queries .And I have to say as embedded software engineer all of those skill are very very useful( I touched them all except of pmp ). Also I suggest to learn well UML and how to write HLD(High level design) and LLD (Low level design) . Good software design will save allot of trobles .Its my 2 cents.

Most army story ever

I have enjoyed all of your videos, but this is the best one I have seen! Thanks, from a 19D.

Good segment dude. That doesn't even begin to encompass what we are but everything you said is 100 percent hammer on nail truth. Approved.

Thank you for doing the video...it does mean a lot to all of us!

I loved when you were on the Bridges podcast with destiny

Nice report. I was with the Rakassans in 1973 thru 1977. while on jump status which ceased in April 1974 and then went Air Assault. Even with 22 years as 11B, I always considered Rakassans as my home and the best unit in the Army. BTW, I liked the first shirt in your video. You make 11 series look good.

Love the long format! Keep it up!

I think it's because the US generally seeks air supremacy(complete control) and tries to seek air superiority(general control of the air). You don't need SAMs as much when you have an airforce that can supress all relevant airfields and perform all sorts of counter air actions. Even there, there has been work on new ground based air defenses(see IMSHORAD, the new stinger replacement in the works, and also all the counter drone stuff). Also look at the USN's Aegis system instead for what USA has the potential to create in terms of air defense.

Hello neighbor, I grew up across the lake in Kirkwood!

You made this so easy for me, lol my son is 18 and was asking me how I could vote overseas. I never knew all of this. My son is now a fan. lol thank you for teaching me an him something.

2:31 SAAB training systems also manufacture something simillar to miles gear. But they also have solutions for building up an entire training town where they have these sensors for walls. It even alllows things like this wall will protect you against small arms rounds but if the enemy shoot at you with a carl gustav you will get taken out. With systems also for tanks and simulating artillery fire. I had the pleassure of training at STA MOUT Kvarn with my reservist homeguard unit, really cool.
