We have to flee mental and physical abusers and seek refuge with responsible people. Personally I know 2 beers or more makes me mentally unstable ; hence I stay away from beers. I feel better without drinking beer. Alcohol/drugs has done more harm to civilization than good. My grandmother is the beginning(or at least for me) of the problem of why my mom and aunts and uncles are so messed up in the head but I didn't see that when I was younger, thanks to my parents, and aunts. They shielded my siblings and me from her but I can't say the same for my cousins. But don't get me wrong even my parents and their siblings gave some of their traumas and pain onto us and my cousins when we were little, I came to realize how mess up I was as a person when I talked to other kids and their families, and even today we are still affected by the trauma that my parents have given us. I came to realize all of this when I came to live with my grandmother because I didn't know about all these things before hand or did much self-reflection on reasoning why everyone in the family has some deep trauma or mental issues. I realized my own problems and I'm going through the process of trying to fix my self and I came to forgive my mother and lots of my aunts and uncles of the way they treated us when we were younger. Also I want to try to be the generation of my family to end this curse that we have.

It gradually traumatized me for many year. Because the circumcised p* looks different than other kids’. I even developed depression when I was a teenager. The relationship with my dad was terrible and he did not even know why since I did not tell him until much later. Luckily when I was in college and bumped into a TV series Desperate Housewives, one episode was talking about circumcision. Family was once very strong and important in the west it has its reasons why they west had its meteoric rise in the 19th and 20th century. These videos have helped me tremendously dealing with my own parental abuse and I had one parent who was an enabler. I do hope that the level of modernization continues (since it affects many Chinese people and provides that quality of life). Even though I have my opinion of China, I do not want to see anybody from any country having a decline in quality of life. So keep up the good work. We all look forward to the next video. I have noticed this, women working in businesses environment is a few decades newer phenomenon in China in comparison with western world, but there is two particularities, one, Chinese women are extremely hard working in comparison with western women, two, due the growth rate of the economy in China during the last few decades, then there was way more opportunities for women to participate in the white collar workforce than the women in western world, that being said, in any case all of them have the same issue, they want to compete with men, having a career but they expect to compete having a preferential treatment, like they used to have as mothers and wives but that is not how the work environment works where you are measured for your results indistinctly of your gender, that being said, overall they never will be able to outperform men, we are designed to compete and win, thinking ahead for planing and anticipating events, out body tolerates stress and thermal regulate way better, we are meant for this journey.

  1261.  @ChineseHistorian2022  it definitely hit me and my family hard. Towards the end of my addiction I was in and out of the hospital a few times a month and at least 15 times in detox. Not to mention getting arrested numerous times and I went 7 years without a license. I could have gotten it after 5 years but I made a choice that I wouldn’t drive until I quit everything and knew I could trust myself not to fall back into my addiction. I can’t stand the smell of alcohol anymore but it was a long process for me to get over. I am 43 and am now basically as well off as a 18 year old out of high school. It set me back two decades. I have only myself to blame and I move forward and don’t look back. It is important to remember and don’t forget how terrible it was for me so I never fall back into that hole. For me alcohol was the hardest thing to quit. If i would suddenly try to stop the withdrawals would send me to the emergency room and one time stuck in intensive care for a week. The opioids withdrawals suck but I never had to go to the hospital over them. I just couldn’t sleep for a week and restless legs and body so miserable that it’s like real torture. It would fade after a week. Withdrawal from that was a normal thing because sometimes I couldn’t get the stuff for a day to a week due to unreliable dealers. Drugs and alcohol are definitely a way to wreck your family and whoever else you are around. Keep up the good work and be proud to have stuck to what you set yourself out to do. Especially finishing college after you decided that was one of your goals. I hope you’re proud of yourself and don’t let others get to you. I totally agree with your views on how the west and other places are in decline and at a rapid rate. I guess being a addict made me not notice how crazy the world was becoming because I only paid attention to one thing and didn’t give a crap about anything else. Now I am awake and aware and it’s not looking good. I stay sane though. Thank for the reply.

But I always hated it and have grown out of it never really got addicted or enough to start becoming an alcoholic luckily. However I’m a really big pothead and have always preferred smoking over drinking. I would say weed isn’t as bad as people make it seem it gives me a more clear mind and puts my stress to ease. It calms me down when I’m angry about nothing and really brings me down to earth. Being a loner weed has really saved my life. Not promoting weed or anything but this is how I feel. Don't give up, even with modern women acting as if they've lost their minds there are still good women out there who would appreciate you; granted these days they're fewer and farther between so it's harder to find them but they do exist. One of my closest homegirls had a thing for asian dudes and she was a very attractive woman (so I know this personally), she connected with a couple of Asian dudes that she really liked and they liked her back but neither instance got very far because the parental cultural approval thing was a roadblock. She as well as I couldn't understand it but then both of us are Black (and the cool thing about that is you can do whatever you want, yes you'd like approval but it's not necessary) so we just chalked it up to both of the guys being good dudes who knew this wasn't gonna fly with their parents.......come to think of it I knew another chick who was also a hottie and Asian guys were also on her radar, so they are out there........Focus on becoming the man you wanna become and things will fall into place.

I have hope for you because you have so much self awareness and you have an empathy your father does not possess. Although I agree that a very high divorce rate is detrimental to society, I think we should also explore why women like your mother are drawn to men like your father. He was obviously a bad choice for her from the get go. When we don't carefully choose who we decide to have sex with and have children with, the children ultimately pay for it later on. Although there are situations in which men play the long game and women aren't aware of who he really is, there are many situations in which women are choosing these violent, play boys who end up ruining their lives and the lives of the kids they have.
