Hi chuck im from Philippines, thank you for keeping my fire burning in me, inspiring me everytime Im down. Im a BS Industrial Tech maj in electronics but I didn't know even 10% on whole networking idea. Yes I feel empty, I got my On Job Training on a PBX-CCTV Distributor and im now the support team lead but I only got almost or less than $100 a month and I fell like I didn't paid for my work after that two year working on the same company. I want to grow and I want to level up my career Im now working on my networking schooling starting in zero knowledge as in Computer system servicing. Im now watching your whole channel in a rental computer cafΓ© or if there is a chance to have on a wifi connection in my phone. Thank you very much for the inspiration. I want to have a better work for my family. I HOPE YOU WILL NOTICE THIS

Holy shit this is amazing! And looks like you had a lot of fun. XD This has been very entertaining to watch, even for someone like me who doesn't understand all this advanced terminology & isn't familiar with the devices.

If you are planning on working for the government in any IT capacity, then you need to get your CompTIA Security+ first. No way around it as it is required for all government IT jobs.

Hey guys. Here's some tips that I use to earn my CCNP R&S (ongoing): 1) Look up CCNP detailed exam objectives (Switch/Route/Troubleshooting) 2) Get GNS3 3) Get Cisco VIRL vIOS images (google that) 4) Get Ostinato (cheap packet generator, google that) 5) Get Udemy CCNP all-in-one from Chris Bryant (10 euros on sale right now on their website) 6) Get official CCNP books (buy them or google them) 7) Set up your GNS3, drag and drop switches/routers/Ostinato VMs and start testing each and every concept 8) For every concept configured do show commands to understand why or why not those results are what they are 9) Do Wireshark captures to see how the packets flow and what information they contain 10) Use Ostinato to generate different traffic streams and see how how those concepts function 11) Do practice questions to prepare on what you will actually face in the actual certification exam (9tut is useful, google that) 12) Take the exam 13) ??? 14) Profit Have fun!

How to counter these? Keep your social media profiles private Invest in a paper shredder to destroy sensitive documents that are to be disposed Invest in a screen filter to deter shoulder surfers and CCTV cameras from seeing your screen contents.

Brilliant. Coming from a person who is very comfortable with Linux, is so nice to see the simple security aspects covered. And I always love how enthusiastic you are, making I.T fun!! Big fan here, over in London /UK! Keep it up, and great to see your channel growing as well. Keep you fed :)

Well to prevent negotiation, switchport mode access or switchport nonegotiation and many other technics like assigning to specific VLANs or enabling switchport port-security or just shutdown the unused interfaces

I'm 49 and pursuing two certs at the moment, CCNA and Security+. Frick it, just do it if you want to.
27
Thank you so much for the video. I like to see your channel becouse it heps me to practice my english and motivate me a lot to always improve myself.Although I'm barely finishing college in Mexico and I want to get a good job as a network ingeneer, sometimes I feel that I'll can't, or I wont be good enough. But now I understand that all those thoughts are just fear, and I know that I'm really capable to achive my goal!
26
Working on my bachelors first then backtracking for certs. Already have my Sec+ but the plan is CCNA, CISP, AWS, MCSA, and Ethical Hacking and then to branch out depending on job offers. But a strong baseline in everything is really necessary right now.
26
Thanks Chuck. This was way more concise than anything I have studied on nmap! So far this year i have completed the security+ and Linux essentials exams. Decided network security isn't my thing but I really enjoy working with Linux!
26
I hate the term "the cloud" it's another company with a data centre.
26
"Two is one, one is none" is a lesson I learned the hard way many years ago. Your average person doesn't realize how important backups are until it's too late.
26
Actually just covered Docker on the Devnet course, so more info and lab time with it is much appreciated!
26

Stop what you are doing and get your Linux+ now.
25
Man this got me fired up for my ICND-1
25
Thank you so much for making this video. I've been stressing lately (not because of you) but with taking care of my family during the COVID pandemic as well as trying to do my job from home and trying to study. I was getting down about not being as far along as I should be with my Network+ studying, but this video actually put my heart at ease. So Thank You!

My opinion is one of a billion out there. I enjoyed this channel at the beginning when I was going for my CCNA. Somewhere along the way, I started to resent this channel and did my best to avoid it. However, your security content has been top notch and I am really starting to enjoy your channel again. Continue the good work sir. Thank you.
