  154. This might be my time to shine in the Stonks game. Recent Chemical engineering graduate, with around a year of my degree focusing on polymers chiefly plastics. Polypropylene ( you pronounced it correctly) PP, for simplicity, is a versatile and cheap plastic used in a lot of products. While PP can be recycled its rather difficult, and complicated compared to other kinds of plastics. If you've ever had to take the lid/top off a bottle or jug before putting it in the recycle thats because the lid, usually made outa PP can't be recycled with the bottle. As coincidental as it sounds, during my last two years I worked part time with a campus job that had me working with the campus recycling and garbage collection in mild capacity. And on occasion when I worked over with the recycle side when they were short on staff, it was explained to me that while the campus was equipped to deal with metal, and compost/food waste, plastics had to be sorted by their numbers and the number 5 (PP) had to be set aside as there wasn't a close enough recycling center to process the material because they have to specialize. If GAF's website is honest about the company in question has a proprietary and unique process to recycle these plastics and separate the dyes making the plastics "close to virgin" resin. It could effectively allow consistent reuse of PP plastics which could save alot of companies who use it in their products alot of money, reducing the amount of resin they need to buy. Personally I'm going to keep my eye on them. If nothing else a less expensive recycle process could be a market shaker, but if they can do what GAF claims, and they have the multinational obligations they say they do. Itd flip the market on its heaf like the table after bad game of poker.

  380. My thoughts are slow build back up to high $30’s by Thursday then a precipitous drop to low $20’s for the foreseeable future. The stock was trading in the low $20’s when the merger was announced originally and after the first hype bubble pushed the stock to around $30 per share. After the ticker symbol change this company won’t have any type of products available for at least 12 months and they have billions of dollars worth of infrastructure to build out and other rounds of funding to secure along the way. I’d love to say holding on will be profitable for the next few years but I just don’t think you’re going to see any real value or returns until this company gets the ball really rolling. TLDR advice would be wait and see if it dips into the teens, buy there and hold out hope for 2+ years. But what the hell so I know 🤷‍♂️

If prices go down usually i can break even or come out with some profit due to volatility spike. If prices stay flat, my option value stays the same. The federal reserve is pumping money to prepare for these dumps in economic news as the US dollar is traded against all other currencies in the global financial market. We also have to take into account the Federal Reserve could very well go into negative interest rates. The SP 500 is still in a bear market and this fact can't be overlooked. If you are a day trader, take heed to this warning. Long investors this isn't much of a concern to you.

Im thinking of selling a put on SPCE. its at $17.60 may 1st right now and im thinking of doing a selling put for may 8th for a strike price of $15 which is what I personally think is safe for example for the stock. The premium for that contract is is $.66 what I want to do is sell 23 contracts for that which gives me $1518 of min. credit instantly. And by may 8th if it doesn't touch that strike price that I picked then ill just be up $1518 (while having 30k collateral on hold) for the week and thats it? so if I do this for a month its almost 6k a month if I dont hit the strike price that picked every time? it sounds way to easy for me right now thats why I wanna make sure before I commit. thank you.

If I were you, I wouldn’t jump in Unit or Warrant unless you know and understand it very well. Like he said, keep your spending close to the stock itself while it’s near that 10 bucks SPAC price, so if something goes very wrong, all you would loose are anything beyond that base price

Do it 4 years I could have enough for a car payment. A little longer and It’ll pay my rent. That’s if I keep increasing at the rate I currently am without increasing how much I put it, (which I likely will). It’s slow growing. We all got bills to pay might as well make my 30’s easier.

I bought a $50 strike the day it hit the market...climbed to $62 then went down to like $52 and just bounced around violently, broke past what I thought was support so I sold the call and only made like $800. Now it's worth a fortune. I expired 6/19 too! Dumb decision. Oh well. I put up collateral and sold a put contract. I picked the $55 strike expiring friday so my money would only be tied up for 4 days and got paid $540 to do so. That's damn near 10% return. Still finished $10k over the last 2 trading days. Good luck out there people! Trade smart. Keep your hands from being weak but know when it's time to sell! Take advantage of the time you have on your contract!

  1287. If you play OPTIONS, DO NOT rush the homework. Do all your Technical Analysis studies with charts, do paper trade TILL YOU are comfortable with average returns. DO NOT RUSH INTO OPTIONS. And once you do start, start with just Long Calls. Not 6 months out but 1-2 months out is fine. If you do your homework right and if you pray to the Cow gods, you will make money. If not and the stock takes a shit, you only lose the price you paid for the option. Don't start with Naked Puts/Calls and don't try to be smart to leverage x100 on something.

  1354. i put $1,000 into my account around late February, started making consistent gains on spy put options, then once the market started diving i made about 13k profit from netflix, mcdonalds, spy, disney, etc. evetually i lost basically all of it becasue i anticipated the market to react negativly to the delayed stimulus singing, job loss numbers, rising cases etc. My short dated puts got IV crushed on the next big red day so as the market kept going down i wasn't making anything. now im at $980 thats allocated into netflix and mcdonald puts Diamond hands all the way 🌈🐻

All this week I was a 🏳️‍🌈🐻but I'm just being logical. Although what we need to focus on, as wrong as it sounds, is the new cases, not the deaths. The people that die, had already gotten the corona before we've counted them and "priced" them in. And as you might've seen the cases are showing some signs of kinda flattening, also in the task force briefing I think they reduced the estimated deaths from 80,000 to 60,000. By the way, I know what I said sounds wrong about these people that died, and may God rest their souls, but i wanted to proove a point. As for the stimulus check , I will not be getting stimulus check , very unfortunate. I just want to point out since this channel has a lot of followers and don’t want it mislead and give high hope lol 😉. And friendly remainder for tax next year , make sure if your parents claimed you as dependent (which give them $500 benefits) , you will need to check as “someone can claim me as dependent” to avoid unnecessary letter from IRS. ✌️
