Eagle flys by, drops a yummy dinner off for you and you know how to clean it because you worked on a fishing boat for years. Lol. You actually are the most fascinating woman in the world. ✌🏽

There's no such thing as failure; only more data.

Love your channel! It's a huge goal to buy a home with acreage next year, and meanwhile I'm doing my best to 'city-stead, and learn all I can about the things I plan to do once God blesses me with the homestead I'm dreaming of.
10
I want to be you when I grow up lol. But really your lifestyle is goals and I can’t wait to reach that point ❤️❤️❤️

Great instructional video. Don't be down on yourself for what you did not know. I'm amazed at two things about you. What you DO KNOW and your amazing bravery to step out into the unknown.

So many good tips here Anne! There are many more I could add but I'll just focus on the most important ones for you personally. I've been watching every video (fully) that you've made over the past few years and from what I see I must say that you've become a more wholesome person, by doing all this that you mentioned. I'll point out three things that I think everyone else could also benefit from: a) You understand the value of a healthy work-life balance b) You're so brave by being vulnerable and open to show your mistakes and "failures" c) You actually enjoy the process of "doing chores" So, just keep going, you're doing GREAT and take it easy dear ♥

I'm just starting my own food garden this year. I'm happy to see that my very lazy sprinkling of seeds across carefully prepared garden beds is a perfectly valid technique.

@uarestrong76 neon colors are a great idea, I also tend to put reflective tape on mine so if (when) they get lost, I can just go out looking for them with a flash light, works every time :) funny enough, nowadays I find my stuff more easily in the dark, than in the day!

Love love love this video. ❤️ Not only is this SO SO practical and helpful and also hilariously uplifting, but it makes feel so less alone in my battle against pests!

I kinda liked B&W clip...

Going to have to save this video for later cos me and my 8yo daughter are in the wood looking for some potential spoon blanks

Loved the tone of this. (Plus, it made me want to go back and review some of the original videos that I missed.) I find comments very helpful as they give me a sense of community, but I hope these seemed well-intentioned to you, otherwise they would be counterproductive. I try to see if people have made a point I might make before posting in any comments. There's no value in piling on.

"Now, there seems to be no sign of intelligent life" 😂😂bwahahahahahahaha😂😂 Lost my s#!t on that one, cracked me up! Nice tut and carve by the way. 👍🏽

I am so thankful I found your channel and your website. I have just learned tons and tons. I’m up in Spokane Washington a long way from Tennessee but much of what you talk about. I can do in my little backyard. Thanks so much for the inspiration.

Great tour, Anne. Thank you very much.

Wow, what a fountain of information. Thanks, Carson!

Yes I’ve seen others say this in the comment, great to see you back! I’ve been looking for your videos.

They were the best of livestock, they were the worst of livestock.

You are an amazing animal caretaker. And the animals seem to adore you. Good vibes.

There is no guesswork involved in sharpening chains! He explained it very clearly at the beginning. This is the only video that I've seen that explains it logically from a professionals point of view! Every other one I've seen has been from a non professional view!

Vampires, mosquitoes, potential lovers 😂👏👏👏

This lady is awesome!
10
Yes! Wow! She’s a great American example for everyone. Beautiful work. Labor of love.

You're the best! Also, sharing that you deal with anxiety and depression is EXTREMELY helpful, as it lets other sufferers know that we can homestead as well. For myself, acquiring homesteading skills truly helps my mental health and gives me purpose. Your channel is incredible and so are you. Thank you! Love from Croatia!

I'm so glad you made a followup! The original was the first video of yours' that I ever saw, suggested to me because I had been watching videos about tree care. More recently, I discovered Daniel's own channel independently, but for the same reason. Looking forward to the videos on planting and root collar maintenance!

"Third half of the building" reminded me of the Click & Clack from CarTalk. "We'll have a new puzzler in the third half of the show!"
10
I always learn so much from these videos, but I admit I laughed out loud at "clean up bull" Thanks for sharing.
10
Yes. In Dale Carnegie class they said "Practice makes better!"

Awww, I had a couple of dwarf wethers as pets - a little training as babies and they ended up being great with our little kids (even though they would butt heads with each other until they bled!). They were the best pets we ever had.

So happy to come across your channel! We moved to the northern section of the Cumberland Plateau in TN 2.5 years ago and love it here but also struggling to get my fruit trees and blueberries going. Looking forward to learning from you. Thanks so much for all the great tips.

I love April Wilkerson's channel, and I assume this is why youTube suggested yours to my account. I look forward to checking out your content! If this video is any indication of what I can expect... I'm going to have a blast exploring your creative videos ;)

the cat is inspecting the ground ! the foreman cat!me i hope this year gonna better for tomatoes :) nice work Anne !

I absolutely love your personality Anne, the way you explain things. My 25-year-old has just shown an interest in growing her own food, and I will definitely tell her to watch your videos.

Me as I pull mint out of all my other plants to dry for tea. 🤣

As a teacher, it makes me so sad that you spent a portion of your life feeling dumb. You are my go-to for garden info because you’re so good at teaching! There are a lot of gardening videos out there but most people don’t have the patience, wit, & relatability that you have. You give clear, but detailed info in a way that makes sense. So PLEASE never feel like you aren’t enough because you’re someone that many of us look up to!!
10
Thank you for this video. I knew that daffodils are good to protect the trees from wild animals so I started to plant some around my fruit trees, now I will transplant also the strawberry plants that are too many in my garden under some plum trees.

I use a style of gardening called, plant once, eat forever. I don’t know if it’s a ‘thing’ but it’s what I do as I am mega lazy and an engineer by trade. So, in two of my beds I grow Jerusalem Artichokes. Two weeks back I just chop and drop. That, with the leaf fall, gives me a great nutritional winter soil protector. My polytunnel is a different beast, obviously, where I allow anything and everything to grow over the winter months alongside my Tree Collards and i’ll then pull out what I don’t want ready for the tomatoes and peppers end of Spring.

It's so refreshing to see someone who explains their thought process and gives us the details. So many videos are just music and we don't get into the mind of the artist. Well done!
10
I adore you Anne, in the most platonic way possible : ) Good morning, from Australia ❤
10
Heal well and thank you for sharing while you are healing.😊 Great info!
10
Can we get Anne to 1Mil before year end?
10
These young women are awesome!! They need to be recognized all over the world lol 👋☺great video ❤

🎉 Thank God I finally found another person who wants to garden naturally like me. You my lovely lady or as rare as a southern eclipse during Northern lights and definitely a breath of fresh air to my old tired grumpy eyeballs.

Great first step in restoring the land. Love the lawn mowers. :-)
10
Oh Anne..what a great message. ❤❤Well done my friend 👏

I would highly highly recommend taking Marty McGee Bennett's camelidynamics training. My husband and I went from a similar situation every month to me being able to do it own my own without a single spit or fight. She is the alpaca whisperer and can help you be one too! You will be happier and so will they.
10
That looks great, good you were there to help out

I agree with what you said about cover crops accept one kind. I live by the Wisconsin Illinois border and need a good cover crop. My answer was Austrian peas. They add nitrogen all winter long and simply cutting them in the spring gives you instant mulch still high in nitrogen. They don’t come back once you cut them. I love your tips.

When a buddy brought his battery chainsaw on a camping trip I was won over. No need for a big saw when you’re just making firewood from small downed trees.
