Itโs an amazing story which teaches us the morality because at first glance this old man looks very thoughtful and generous when he tried to sell his beautiful silk umbrella to a woman and her daughter and even this young girl believed him sincerely, but secondly, when they investigated a little bit about this old man the woman and her daughter found our one unpleasant thing that this man is not a gentleman as he had looked before, so he was a person who was pretended to be intelligent, but in reality he bought a glass of whiskey and after than, the woman was following him when he left a pub and this time he went to the other street and he did the same when he found a new young lady whose he asked for ยฃ1 pound trying to sell another umbrella again. To sum up, not all people can look generous when they take care of others and probably they have their own motives providing assistance to strangers.

I enjoyed too much the story. Keep bringing to us these great stories, Dylan. The best strategy was giving the population the power over the mayor arming them with vegetables and grass for children to play. I didn't think it worth it both ending up in prison, they could've done the difference from another way. He went through university and ended up in jail. She's a lifetime rebel although.

We, Brazilians, use all these 8 expressions to say a softer no. And we might use, perhaps, another 20. But they are exactly the same expressions. Loved it! We usually walk on eggshells to say no, to avoid leaving the other person disappointed, sad. Sometimes, we even say yes just to avoid creating a bad atmosphere. It's about us ๐ฅฒ๐ซถ By the way, I'm a native of Sรฃo Paulo.

Hi everyone. I'm from Spain, specifically from Canary Islands. Actually, l've been studying English for eight years. At the primary school l used to hate studying foreign languages, either French or English but l started to get used to listening to music in English thanks to my uncle. I have lost of problems with grammar and for this reason l haven't had to pass my B2 certification exam, but l want to go on improving my English of course.

Woah, I found one more good places to learning British english. Big thanks to the youtube's traffic! Anyway, it's amazing to meet you, Sir! I'm Indonesian and naturally grew up with american style while learning english since the primary school. I thought that all of english accents are the same, until I've noticed that the way British people say is totally different in a great movie called Harry Potter. British has made the english sounds more pretty and elegant. I admire on it ๐

Thanks again. Interesting, useful. I'll use them by all means.
