  4. It was called LORSTA Searchlight. Short for LORAN STATION, because its close to Searchlight ,NV. I tried to get station there because I'm from Vegas. I'm A retired Coastie. There was a doctor from Vegas who had a place out there near all the mines. He had claims and was systematically testing the area. We toured his facility with the GSSN in the early 90s. He did his own assays and showed us the process. I have been there in that area since then. PS... I have met and talked with you Jeff several times.

  5. What a rare video today. It's been so beautiful that even the wild burros are more friendly! And in just a few weeks it look like the moon again. The desert has minerals that's a given.   13. Trap Rock, blue basalt bedrock found here in Dresser Wisconsin, is used to make rebar. It's great. Rebar made from trap rock doesn't rust. Doesn't expand. You can coat electronics with trap rock and make them water proof. Almost all asphalt shingles are made with trap rock. The shingle rock, dust. We have pot holes along the St Croix River in the Trap Rock. It's a nice area, St Croix Falls. You'd like it Jeff. Lots of Geological History. Especially the ice age trail, we have 1600ft tall sand dunes full of sea shells and fossils along the St Croix River that sits on top of the trap rock. Every cubic ft of sand probably has 20 sea shells in it. There's that many. You can see what was dug out from the glacier melt off.

  22. Hi Jeff, I'm a biologist in Alaska but was born and raised in the Mojave Desert near your mine. I will be visiting the Indian Wells Valley area in April. When in the area, I can collect a worm sample and analyze it's DNA (called eDNA) and investigate it morphology to identify the beast. Bruce

  27. I heard an interesting theory that most ghosts are actually "thin" spots or holes in the fabric of space/time. You are seeing something that did happen, or will happen, but distorted and out of phase. Think about a house with a reputation for being haunted... Some Victorian era kid sees a modern person through the veil and freaks the heck out. Meanwhile, someone in the present sees the "ghost" of a kid, and perpetuates the haunting stories. An intriguing idea, overall.

G,day Jeff, I must say I do so thoroughly enjoy the drift mine episodes, looks like you've got some pretty serious load bearing material, it's great and really interesting to see the actual ancient river bed, man it's pretty exciting stuff. I don't know if you watch any of the YouTube channels of the Australian prospectors, but there's a few who have been hitting some excellent ground, both untouched ground and also redigging Olde 1800,s ground previously mined by hand, anyway,in both cases they've been coming up with some hefty nuggets 20 ounce and bigger, from what I'm seeing there in your drift mine, sure looks promising, be good to see you strike upon that motherload.   47. When looking for Gold, you know that using Google Earth and Geology is the key to finding lost Gold Mines and getting that Shiney ....but by adding a UTV to the mix , you are unbeatable.
