It makes me wonder if it had the intent of running for mayor as far back as then. I can't be sure, but it is interesting to have a bit of information.   22. I've wasted so much money on these courses but I think there is some value in paying for courses. Definitely not 2-3K but even investing $100 means that you're more likely to follow through. I've actually given access to my friends and family who could not afford these courses but none of them followed through, even though they were so eager to get started. I guess there is no skin in the game. On the other hand, you have people (myself included) who spend money on courses as a substitute for actually doing the work. I think this is detrimental as well. I was a big proponent of investing in myself but I realized that I was trying to procrastinate instead of putting in the work. That's why I've decided to take a break from investing in coaching and courses and do the actual work. If you're trying to improve yourself, you already know what needs to be done. Unless you're going to learn something very technical or something you have no clue on how to get started, you don't need a course. Instead, the biggest benefit I've seen is from finding people who have already done what I want to and learning from them directly. Anyway, this is just me thinking out loud. Action is what most people need to focus on the most. For every hour of learning you do, you should be spending at least 10 hours doing the actual work, not the other way around.

  23. Great start to the channel! I feel like those commenting that it's too long aren't frequent podcast listeners. I think 1-2 hours is a perfectly reasonable length for something like this. But it's interesting to see this format starting out in a visual medium rather than audio only. Usually it's the other way around. Highlights sound like a great idea! Maybe a few 5-10 minute segments on a specific topic that could be shared as their own thing? Love where this is going though! :D Have you heard the Showmakers podcast? Similar concept that has sadly been inactive for nearly a year now. Just thought it might be worth getting in touch with them to combine efforts at some point.

  36. A lot of the points you make are great and ricky is quite the scammer. However, I just want to say that the stock market does not trade 365 days a year and using warren buffet as a comparison is wrong since he does not make new trades everyday, instead he holds a position for years.
