  33. For me as a German, this is the first time I've seen these parts of the clip. It's just frightening how close to the people some of these Nazis pretend to be and yet spread this radical and malicious propaganda among themselves. I see parallels with Germany today. Now the party is not called NSDAP but AfD. Instead of the red hacking cross, now in blue with red arrow check mark. We see again that dividers, traitors to the fatherland and racists in the AfD have unfortunately re-established themselves in the media and in some parts of Germany. History will repeat itself if we do not confront these crimes.

  47. Aryan basically means white or caucasian, so it does refer to race. However, Judaism is NOT a race, it is a religion. Judaism is not based on skin color or physical features but on religious belief. No one says "the christian race", or "the muslim race", because they are not races, they are abrahamic religions, like Judaism. You can change your religion but you cannot change your race. It's so annoying when people always refer to judaism as a race. It isn't a race.

  48. I appreciated learning about the history of this iconic structure. The movement from a military installation to a royal palace used only by the elite to a building devoted to the public access of art seems like an enlightened trajectory for humanity. That many of the works were stolen from their original countries of origin is something that needs a modernization of values just as the building are being renovated to reflect modern needs and uses. What I enjoy most is the ethos of art and architecture as mutually supporting expressions of human creativity and engineering. France’s devotion to creating and maintaining this nexus for humanity deserves more appreciation. This documentary helps serve that need. Thank you! ❤
