"The world would need to find another way to get its nitrogen fix" I see what you did there and I love it!

You might be increasingly doing clickbait verging on type 1, but your channel reputation means I'm generally willing to trust you're going to deliver. You can better exploit the curiosity gap because I know you won't leave me hanging. I gotta say though, the question with a simplified answer in the thumbnail is also one of my favorites on YouTube, it means I can leave my curiosity for when I have the time to enjoy it, instead of clicking to find out but not having the time or interest to get through to video. you may not always get the immediate click, but I generally come back to it later.

Familiar territory Derek. I liked the point about non-scientific methods, Cod liver oil, bloodletting, etc, being a starting point but the scientific method being a refining agent to find out not only what works and why but what DOESN'T work and why. Too bad we've gone to a post-truth society that seems to want to go back to non-scientific methods only.

Thanks! Check the details on your pie chart for elements.... Isn't nitrogen more abundant than oxygen?

This is truly amazing. Having seen this as a kid on the Vauce channel and now fully understanding it just makes me realize how much time has passed. Really great video!

I loved the "where do trees get their mass from" video and the origami/deformable structures. All were different that what I expected and got me to say "wow" enough to share the videos!

On this basis (time), can we say that aliens are good too? As so much time might have pass to them? 🧐
