  17. I worked for a large home builder for 13 years... i topped out with my salary around 35k a year. I was a KEY employee for the region i was in. Regular meetings with VPs, large projects and huge responsibility. When I asked for a raise, I was told by one higher up "You think you can leave here and make more money somewhere else?". I put in my resignation a few weeks later to pursue an online marketing career. 3 years later I own and manage a print on demand manufacturing company making much more than 35k a year. When Barbara spoke about Simon telling her "you'll never succeed without me" and the shift in her mind from employee to owner.... it resonated so loudly with me. Now when someone tries to tell me what I can't do, i grit my teeth, buckle down and think "watch me". WONDERFUL interview guys.

  34. I think this was a GREAT interview, HOWEVER...Phil circle-jerking around the conversation about the steroid side of the game is unfortunate. He tried so hard to NOT expose the use & abuse of of these compounds, it was embarrassing to watch. The conversation NEEDS to be had. Its an integral side of the sport of bodybuilding. If the sport is looking to move forward and more in the publics' eye...then they better prepare. I'm not currently bodybuilding anymore, but have done a couple of cycles...saw results, but I'm a green-horned amateur. The shit is out there Phil...C'MON BRUH
