5:42 "Answering this question isn't usually solved by running the numbers." Aww, so no Run the Numbers section. Those are typically my favorite parts of these videos. In all seriousness, keep up the great work! I recently completed grad school and your content has been really helpful for preparing me for the real world! :D

Season 3 started! my life is complete Until I watch all of it and wait for season 4
103
How did you not do a collab with ask a mortician on this one?! You guys would make a great team with Caitlin!
102
This video will be my evidence when I try to convince those who say redlining is not a thing. You guys always produce top notch content, this is no exception

I was divorced about 19 years ago. I wish I would have watched this before I started the process, it's great information! By the way, marriage 1 lasted about 3.5 years. I'm currently very happily married and we are going on year 16 this year. Don't get too wrapped up on getting every penny of your share. Wrapping things on and moving on is a huge step to a better life. I didn't go to court at all and I'm very happy I didn't because then the lawyers are mostly the ones who get the money. *also* the start of the video was hilarious!

Are you husband and wife?

1:28 that grammar flex

2:40 Ted and his boyfriend. That made me smile. Thank you for the representation, two cents <3 Because gay people exist :)

I'm personally broke, but I'm very fortunate to have never been poor. If it wasn't for my family, I don't know where I'd be today.

People never believe me when I say renting can be a good option! Thanks Two Cents!!

Can't wait for this! đ¤

I credit Two Cents for taking the intimidation factor out of learning and getting involved in my financial life. I'm trying to get my co-workers to get involved with investing now cause I drifted into more content after binging you guys first. Thanks for being great teachers!

Thank you so much for posting this video! Home ownership has historically been a very difficult feat for POC and has contributed to a lack of generational wealth that still hurts non-white communities today

That would be sailling into the unknown. Maybe you discover a new continent and get rich, but most probably you'll reck your ship and lose everything.
99
I just went through my change drawer and found about $50 in dollar coins, and some Mexican coins from 1895 đ¤

This channel is an hidden gem. Adds so much value.

I didn't know that a lot of couples argue about money, I've been married for almost 15 years now and I've never argued about money with my husband.

Scammers who take advantage of grief stricken pet owners are another one. My friends dog had gotten lost and posted about it on various media sites. She instantly got a bunch of respondents claiming they had the animal in question and were holding the pet ransom. Some even claimed that they would kill the dog if she didn't pay up. It was horrific to witness the emotional distress she went through.
98
Nonetheless, another awesome video. Best wishes for you three!

Making most needed topics.. As always. I would like to appreciate both of you for producing videos even during pregnancy.

3:54 Using Mac OS with the Windows XP background? Please have my babies
96
lol the last three years of my life have been one of those "sprints" you speak of. It feels great to know that if contracting work dries up, I have income to fall back on

I agree with the couple's counseling idea. My wife and i have been going to one prior to even being engaged to help us communicate with each other more effectively. We go once a month unless we have something serious to work through then every 2 weeks. Also it provides for us a safe space to bring up anything and not feel a friend is being bias towards one or another if we were to have a friend mediate.
96
Damn you guys are gonna grow old together and be just a s happy as now being such pros at this đ

Extra Credits also did a few great videos on the topic such as most whales not being kids but people going through a hard time, people not wanting to lose their top dog status or people with a dopamine craving. That being said video games themselves are not a true chemical addiction but a compulsion that a small but real percentage of the population struggles with. If anyone reading this is struggling with video game addiction i recommend watching extra credits video on and dont be hard on yourself life always welcomes you back with open arms. :)

I love that you also mark the passage of time by Harrison Ford movies! :)
94
You guys only have a few videos but it looks like youâve been doing this for years. Definitely a good channel.
93
This is so refreshing. A lot of my colleagues who own businesses wish they could spend more time doing what they love and less time being the boss.

Still, breastfeeding might not be free, but its a LOT cheaper than formula, especially if you go for the top brand (Nestley, etc) which are ridiculously priced. Also, in my country lactation consultant is free. We had babies in 2 different provinces and in each one, we had nurses visiting at home just to check that everything was going well at the beginning and give us free stuff (mostly samples, but still) to help. I really find that US is behind most other developed countries when it comes to raising children.

I say try to keep your mind sharp and adaptable just in case your job isn't future proof
93
This is a really informative video. For people who are just being introduced to investing for retirement, you could also do another video comparing 401(k) to IRAs. Keep up the great work, guys!
93
I don't even know who disliked this episode? Like, there is literally nothing here from which you cannot learn something.
93
The script joke was really good.
92
Wow, this is probably my favorite PBS YouTube series so far. Hilarious and educational at the same time!
92
Love your content so far. I see this channel becoming a much cooler less old fart-y version of Dave Ramsey's thing. You've earned a subscriber with me and I'm planning to force feed all your videos to my friends.
92
Pausing at the start of the video to say: I love the fact that the "certified, pre-owned teleporter" looks like a Stargate! :D
92
Seriously loving the channel - both content and presentation (and presenters), and it only seems to be getting better. This was my top pick in the PBS annual survey for "New series I want to see" and I'm so glad with my past self :) Currently in the middle of a binge, only 3 more to go, keep 'em coming folks.

@TwoCentsPBS You're not fooling anyone with that fake mustache, Ryan!

This video should be show to high school student

Hey guys. Truly you both doing great job on every single video release. I really admire you both for the efforts tat is put in to share such thoughts which are realistic in life, and that awareness our money tat flushed from our pockets. Fantastic đ I use to spent money in college for clash of clans but now no much time for games. I spend quality time in researching more information which I am not aware about something to do with all countries news..

This couple is so sweet.. God bless these Two centsđ

I see millions of views in one year

Also, instead of Netflix you can get a free service though your library or sometimes your college if youâre a student or faculty
88
This video is rather useful for young people, thank you!
88
Love the common sense (cents), no nonsense, finance advice. I do hope this takes off! Keep it up đ
87
This was excellent; loved the illustration.

I'm from the Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago to be exact and I simply love your channel! It has taught me a lot despite certain rules being not applicable to where I live. Keep up the great work!
87
The bit at 6:03 .... what a sneaky way of saying - be an engineer I loved that bit!

Former life insurance salesman here. Only did it for 6 months. Even in training they donât teach you how bad youâre scamming the people youâre selling to or really what it is youâre selling. They barely teach you the âgood partsâ of it. Took me a couple of months and getting my friends and family signed up for it that I began to realize what a horrible scam it was. I convinced all of my friends/family to cancel and just get basic term insurance with a different company. I stopped taking meetings after 4 months and actively looked for a different job the last two months. This video is amazing and Iâm so glad that they showed easy and simply what a scam it is. Awesome job 2 Cents!!
