  5. Very good an very enlightening. I knew a lot of it but still it was a nice refresh. Curiously, one of your best episodes yet. I can't quite tell why, not as exciting like some wars you've covered, but it forms a serious and good foundation of knowledge as to the rise of fascism.

  6. the further we get into the crisis, the sexier Indy gets. I, for one, am enjoying this ride tremendously, yes yes, we might all get blown up, but watching Indy in a torn shirt, explaining to me what's going on while the atmosphere catches fire; what a way to go!

  8. It's crazy to think that I started watching The Great War in the 5th grade and that it will be over this year. Really gives you a perspective on how long the war really was. Not only that, but that this series will end when I'm a Junior in college. Really makes you think.

  16. I missed the Reddit AMA, unfortunately, although I'm glad to have found TimeGhost through it. I had no idea it was in the works. XD Will TimeGhost be particularly for the Cuban Missile Crisis or will it branch out into other areas instead? I realise that taking on ambititious projects like the 4-year Great War uses a lot of time and resources. Also if you're reading, Indy, I love the Great War channel - it's one of the only series I've found that documents the war in real-time, something I've long been searching for, and I'm looking forward a lot to what yourself and Spartacus will get up to on TimeGhost. :D

  23. Actually, Astrid, Indy, and Spartacus DID follow up and complete that project. Unfortunately, one of the side effects of the time travel is it was all erased by something Indy did later, further in the past. Damn... By the way, I didn't write this. Yes you did. I did? Well, >I< did, but I'm actually still you, so it counts. Oh. I guess I DID write this. Who knew?!

  40. You guys have drastically altered the course of my life. I always enjoyed history from a young age, and that love has expanded as Iā€™ve grown. Now at 19, I am in college with the intent of getting my PhD in order to become a history professor. All the shows: The Great War, Between two Wars, War Against Humanity, and World War II continue to push me further down that path and have shown me ways to make history truly palpable to most people. Thank you, in time, people will come to see all of these shows as possibly the best use of a video streaming service or social network that has ever been attempted. Even if none of you went to university for it, you are all honorary history teachers/professors in my book, and your contribution will ensure generations have a portrait of two of humanityā€™s largest conflicts.

I am not pro-censorship (certainly not obligatory government mandated) and I will hear out opposing views and listen at least, BUT it's super obvious that there are people being PAID (probably foreign governments seeking to "sow" public discord) to leave useless flame comments of jewhatred all over the webs - that means you guys are constantly having to take time to remove obvious junk it's not unnoticed - you guys are great people ā¤ļø

  48. Honestly after years of watching the Great War Channel, seeing new videos with Indie and co. is kind of like seeing an old friend. I don't know them personally but the past few years of their videos have really brightened some dark spots for me and got me through rough times. Thanks for all the years of entertainment Indie, keep it real.
